  1. Ham, honestly I am not comfortable sharing the amount I cashed out but I can tell you they take 20% off the top and send in for income taxes in AZ state tax is voluntary so we are going to send those in separately and there is a 10% fee that might be waived for medical expenses but we need to talk to a tax specialist to see if we qualify for that one. Hope that helps. You can always call who holds your 401k and talk to them about it they are really the ones who can give you all of your options because not sure if other states have different penalties, I called first and they were so nice.
  2. I cashed out a 401k to pay for my revision. I figure I am preparing for my future a different way plus my hubby has a great retirement package for us to live on when were old!

Oh how fun but I would recommend renting a scooter over a wheelchair they are easier to navigate in the parks. I have had to use one the last two times I visited WDW and let me tell you it was the difference between being miserable and having a great time. At two weeks out your body is still dealing with the shock of surgery and the recovery process, your energy level will most likely be low and the scooter can help with finishing the day plus it can be hard to find a place to sit down and with the scooter you always have a place to sit and rest. I cannot tell you how much the scooter saved my life at WDW. Oh another thing you can ask for water at any quick serve restaurant and they will give you a free glass of water! Good Luck and have a great time!

I have heard about this procedure but also there are not good long term results but it is worth discussing with a surgeon!

Thank you for your response I am totally going to research this very carefully. And I do need to consult with a surgeon to even see if this is the best procedure for me!!
  10. I have just started my research on revision surgery in Mexico! My head is spinning I'm looking to revise a failed RnY of 14years. I think I've decided on RnY to DS now to find a surgeon and start things on it's way! Any info on a good surgeon for revision would be so appreciated!!!
