Yep!! I left the hospital w/ BP meds!

okay.. thanks.. I see him tomorrow for my 1st official post op...

I guess this could have waited until after my 1st post-op appt... anyway.... I'm feeling great!! A little light headed and weak due to the lack of calories and stuff... I'm only allowed bariatric clears... (Is there something I can have that will help me not feel some "out of it"??).. I easy get in all of my liquids.. (Thank God!!) I'm almost pain free, until I forget that I have staples and that I HAD surgery a week ago... and I try to pick something up off the floor or turn a certain way... I'm still overwhelmed and feeling so blessed by the support I've been receiving from you guys, my family and friends... Although, one of my good friends is MIA... I have a feeling we gonna have to have a 'come to Jesus' meeting really soon... but, it's OK.. she'll be fine!!! I've really been wanting some cream of potato Soup for the last 2 days.. so HOPEFULLY (fingers crossed), I'll be ok to go to full liquids and pureed foods tomorrow!!! I haven't been hungry as normal, but I think that little empty feeling in my middle may be my signal for now.. I'm okay w/ that.. Oh, NSV.... got out of the shower this am, I was able to give myself a little foot massage as I lotioned up!! HA!!! That's huge for me!! As I have left side nerve damage due to some herniated discs in my back, thus lifting my left foot has never been this easy since my injury!!! That made me smile!!! Thanks guys!!! I'm excited about my 1st appointment tomorrow... I actually had a few tsp of very, very pureed green beans from Christmas dinner and the lightheaded feeling is basically gone!! What a relief.. I can't stand the "I'm gonna faint any moment" feeling!!!

Congrats!!! We're sleeve sisters!!! I was sleeved on the 19th as well!!!... Glad that you're doing good.. I haven't weighed yet.. I'm tempted... but I have my 1st post-op appt tomorrow... and I'm waiting until then.. Congrats again!!!

I love "Made to Crave!" I'm one week post-op TODAY!!!.. It's something!! But the process is very enlightening.... Congrats and keep up the good work!!!

Have you tried thrift stores, good will or smaller friends???? I'm only a week out, but I'm not fitting more than 3 or 4 pieces in my closet... I'm going to hit up a few thrift stores on their 1/2 days!!! Hope that helps! And congrats!!!

Peacequeen and donnie, I'm so excited for you guys!!!! My big advice, stay positive and optimistic!!! Everything will be fine!! It's not EASY, but it's sooooooooo worth it!!!!!

WOW JMorr!!! You are doing awesome!!!! I was sleeved on 12/19.... I'm doing great, but not cooking and stuff yet... Still have some bad gas pain at night, but it's getting better!! Congrats!!!

Hey Guys!!!! I'm doing well.. I was sleeved, Monday 12/19....So far, I've been very blessed to be able to get all of my liquids down.. somewhere between 64-84 oz per day, including 4-5 bottles of water, diluted organic apple juice, and SF popsicles... Hang in there guys!!! Today I was a little groggy and sore... Just by one incision though.. Nothing that I want to take meds for.. I pray you guys feel better and better each day!! Take your time.. We can do this!!!!.

I was sleeved a few days ago (Monday)... Each day gets better... I have to WORSE gas pains this AM.. they woke me up... but, I know.. it will get better! Hang in there!!

Thanks Guys!!! I'm doing my best.. God is awesome and my family is sooooo supportive... I've been drinking liquids like crazy... Walking and stuff... I actually had a dream about some Culver's Fried chicken though!! I haven't been hungry or had my usual "mouth watering, stomach growling, etc" reactions... I'm so glad I got sleeved!!! SO GLAD!!!!!!!! but, I am ready to chew something besides ice!!

Hey Guys!! I did it!! I finally met my Sleevina!!! LOL... She's doing good!!! I have a little gas, but nothing excruciating.. I came home today right before 3 pm.. Trying to get my fluids down.. Can't stand broth right now, so Crystal light and Water... Still trying to get used to that feeling of having to sip, sip, sip.... The little roadblock that happens when I drink too fast SUCKS!!! I'm really sleepy and cold.. but, no temp or anything... I did have to leave the hospital w/ some BP meds...my BP wouldn't come down enough for them not to prescribe something.. I think it was the morphine.. which I didn't get a lot of after the first night.. I'll update more in the next few days.. I'm going to take a nap... Tina
