I hope things get better for you... I was very dizzy and weak until I started incorporating some more calories.. I would add peanut butter and banana to a protein smoothie or mash a banana into my yogurt... I think the leg pain should be checked by your surgeon or PCP... My prayers and best wishes go out to you!! Please update us when you can...

How do the Bariatric fusion vits taste?? I tried Bariatric Advantage and I want to hurl just thinking about the torture!!! YUCK!!!! I take (I'm supposed to take)- 2 gummies, 1 b-complex capsule, vit. 5 (5K IU per doc), 4 calcium citrates, 1 b-12, Biotin, 1-2 prevacid and some BP meds

well, I didn't have candy.. but I had some cake (3 spoonfuls- it was filled w/fruit, pudding and whipped cream) and eggnog ice cream... I didn't just give in to tempation.. I gave my ENTIRE being to it yesterday!!!!

First, congrats on making a decision that will totally transform your life... Next, your parents love you and perhaps in a "strange" kind of way, they are trying to be helpful... I would sit down w/ them and tell them exactly how you are feeling... Let them know that you appreciate them, however, explicitly state what the issues are.. Trust me, you don't want to be irritated post surgery... I believe if you do that, they will understand... I'm definitely proud of you for not turning to your old frenemy and turning around... You're on the right track.. Keep up the good work and many blessings to you!!

So, those who follow my posts, know that I am OBSESSIVE about weighing myself daily.. well, I'm at my sister's house in Mississippi and wouldn't you know it.. she doesn't have a scale.. I asked her if she wanted me to buy her one (I just wanted to use it...), but she rolled her eyes and didn't answer!!! LOL... I've been eating okay.. I had a kid's soft serve cone from my childhood ice cream joint.... I promised my accountability partner that I wouldn't count, track or weigh will vacaying.. .l'm still counting in my head.... OH my goodness.. it's SOOOOO hard not to get on a scale...!!! I have one more day before I can get home and see what the damage is!! LOL..... When did I go crazy!!??!!!

I had to do them once a day for 2 weeks!!! Hated it!! But it was so worth it!!

@Kareforme... I am dying here at my sister's house.. she doesn't have a scale!!! UGH!! I'm so afraid that I've gained weight.. I don't see how.. LOL...I've been told that I shouldn't stress about the calories either.. At my support group, the vets are like... workout at your own pace, get your fluids in and make sure you eat.. the weight will come off!! I should believe them.. they've lost literally hundreds of pounds!!! I'm a very positive person.. it seems lately though, I've been struggling w/ believing that Sleevina is doing her job.. I know she is.. it's just crazy.. This journey is something!!!

Babygirlcherry, It's a real trip for me because I've never been "normal" weight in my life!!.. I was born 2 months premature and weighed in at a whooping 1 lb 6 oz... I wasn't expected to live, but thank God I did... I was on a constant regimen of steroids and other meds for pneumonia, resp infections and stuff.. Had a seizure at 3 and was given meds and started blowing up!!! I've been overweight as long as I can remember. I get a little freaked out about being "normal" weight.. since I've never experienced it.. and I have no point of reference.. I'm blessed to have a family and friends who constantly affirmed me and it helped that I was smart, an artist and quite charming!! LOL... Never had a confidence issue as an adult (as a teenager definitely)... well, until my ex 2 years ago.. I'm glad I'm almost back to my old self, only smaller and more positive!! You are doing great and I look forward to hearing more about your journey!!

Hey!!! I'm 3 months and 2 weeks... I feel great.. but I'm dealing w/ feeling okay about eating!!! I obsess over the number of calories I'm consuming... and I went through a sweets phase last month while I was celebrating my birthday.. Back on track now, exercising and severely limiting my sugar intake.. As far as hunger, I only experience it when I'm not drinking enough Water.. when my fluids are on track, I have to schedule my meals.. No water means I'm eating ALL day!!!

Yep!! Happened to me when I was being wheeled to my room out of recovery... I thought I was having a nightmare... It felt like I was in the twilight zone or something...3 and a half months later... I'm so glad I went through w/ it.. I love my Sleevina!!!

Thanks.. I'll add this to my collection.. Have you tried adding argan oil?? It's a little expensive, but great for the skin!!
