Six days post op I'm down 13 pounds which I'm excited about. My mom had been staying with me for the past 3 months to help me get to the weight that I needed to get the surgery and she had to leave the day after I came home from the hospital. I'm really close to my mom, she's like my best friend and I'm so lucky to have her. But her leaving has been really hard on me, I had separation anxiety with her as a child and I guess its never really been addressed because I still have it lol. I know this is only temporary but damn it sucks.

That really does suck she had to go!
Reminds me of my brother's birth story. My grandma came about a week before the due date to help Mom with the baby. Baby was a month late! Grandma finally gave up and left (had to go plant her garden), that night the baby came.
