I had the same issue as you It was horrible. It lasted 2-3 days and then went away. Your body went thru a huge shock with surgery and a diet change. I called my doctor just to be sure it was ok and they had me take imodiam (spelled wrong oops) AD and that helped me. Ask your doctor if its ok to take this medicine first. I wish you the best and stay strong -

I use whey protein I buy at Wal mart in a big container for $14.00 it had 25 Grams pro. It comes in Van or Choc. I use a scoop with crushed ice and blend. I have also added SF flavoring and its very good. The powder mix last along time -
Do you still have the clothes available? I am looking for clothes for work (blouses and slacks)

Welcome! I was banded on Aug 28th and feel really great. I had minimal gas pain and no incision pain. I have read so many post here on how much pain people went thru. I was lucky I guess and I am so excited for the future. Best of luck to you

Look at the bright side of the Apnea. Once you get the band and loose weight the Apnea may also go away.

I was banded 8-28-08 with the Realize band, I am doing great and I love the access you get to the Realize website you can track success and diet its great -
Try mixing your shakes in the blender with ice add some frozen fruit. It makes a huge differance. The shakes get old and made me want to vomit from the taste. Also try SF flavors like strawberry or coffee whatever you like. Be creative with your drinks. Best of luck to you

Be strong you can do it. I did 2 weeks liq then three more weeks liq and now post op 4 more weeks of liq- its hard but this is part of the process for healing and you can do it.

I was banded 8-28-08 and I live in North Bend Oregon. I feel pretty good today and the gas pain is almost all gone.
