You are very welcomed. The leak test its scary cause you are under ALOT of pain killers you basically feel high AF lol. And you have to be extra careful not to miss a step ( the ask you to go on a xray machine from your stretcher) then the test starts they give you a thick consistency drink that taste like cold thick milk of chalk with this weird tangy bitter taste. Yes it was horrible. But i survived it and so will you. You only have to take two sips with a straw. Sent from my LG-K540 using BariatricPal mobile app

My surgery was two hours and a half. Thats the normal. No complications as per the Dr. I was a complete mess emotionally before my surgery too. Its normal. Keep in mind the WHYs you are doing this surgery remember you are in great hands Dr. Merola is the Cheif so really of the bat you in great hands. Also it helped me i wrote down everything from my meals following my surgery what I was going to wear I left my home impecable so I spent alot of time cleaning and organizing. For Nauseousness I asked the Anesthesiologist to give me Zofran in my IV and they said they did. But I would get this heavy chest feeeling where I would swallow and just more spit would come up and i would just have to throw up and gag that lasted about three days after surgery. I was told its a normal for most patients to experience this nasty episode of spitting up saliva. Change that emotional state girl you got this.[emoji5] Sent from my LG-K540 using BariatricPal mobile app

Wao PCOS is tough to live with i understand. About sipping on liquids girl let me tell youbI get terrible gas when swallowing. What I have found to help me is this Tervis Cup the lid has a opening it doesnt let you take more than a sip so that has helped alot. Have you had popsicles i had them for the first time yesterday and am in love. Of coarse they are sugar free but you can get ur fluids in like that too. Merola did my surgery. i got up once I woke up from the Anesthesia girl. I was not about to get my behind under a bed pan. Kept going to the bathroom during the night too. I had this sufficating feeling the firstb night and even in the lobby going home i would gag and spit up so bad. The worst experience that was for me. I wouldnt have taken my surgicle tape off because thats holding together the skin and stitches. Some have fallen off only the top layer. Be careful they dont bleed or get infected. On Wends I have my first post op visit with Dr Merola. Cant wait. Sent from my LG-K540 using BariatricPal mobile app

No I dont think I was the one. Lol. Great we have the same surgeon. I am very excited and have mixed emotions about this surgery. I bought my broths and sugar free jello and popsicles so for when I am home next week after surgery I am ready to start this brand new Journey. Sent from my LG-K540 using BariatricPal mobile app
