I love this idea. These are in no particular order. My sleeve is being done 1/18 1. Be able to go on rides at the theme park with my girls and be able to do more with them in general. 2. Be able to go to the beach/pool and actually be comfortable in a bathing suit. I love to swim. 3. There's this place in Colorado Springs I lived there for ten years anyways it's called the Incline in Manitou Springs. I want to climb it all the way to the top. It's huge. 4. Sit in a booth comfortably. 5. Be more girly I feel like when I wear girly clothes I look like a joke. 6. Begin hiking again. 7. Travel and explore this world. 8. Shop in normal stores. I want Victoria to keep my secrets. 9. My 20 year reunion is in June I want to feel comfortable enough to go and look good! 10. Have my wife be able to carry me I miss piggy back rides. Went to the Er last night in horrible pain! I have pcos I knew it was a cyst or two. Well I have several on both sides pretty large. My surgeons office called today and was on me about it. Letting me know I need to clear this up before surgery. Ugh I thought I had jumped through all my hoops and here is another one.

I haven't had my surgery yet nor do I plan on getting pregnant I actually cannot have anymore babies! But I just want to wish everyone well & to let you know it's very realistic that you will be able to have babies. When I got preggo with my first I lost 50lbs prior and took Clomid and was able to have my dream baby. She is almost 14 now. And the next baby was a surprise my husband was on r&r from an Iraq deployment and boom with no meds or anything she is 8 now! Good luck ladies!!! I definitely understand! My partner has had some freak outs about this surgery. I've even posted about it. She is worried that I will want to find someone better or that I will cheat or just leave her once I lose all my weight. We've had several discussions now about it and I think her nerves are a little bit calmed down. I think they worry that because were changing and they are not that we are no longer going to want to be with them anymore. I've had to do a lot of reassuring. I have also had to explain that I am doing this for myself and for my health and to live a longer life with my partner. It has taken some time but she is now being much more supportive. If you ever want to talk I am always around!

That is awesome! Always something I wanted to do ever since I lived in CO. I used to go watch the pikes peak derby dames with my ex when she was an emt at their bouts.

How much time did you take off of work? What kind of time off did your dr suggest? I tend to have a difficult recovery period from surgeries so I am a little worried about how much time I should take. I will be talking to my surgeon about it on Monday as well. Just curious what everyone else did. Oh and I have a desk job.

I will be getting paid for the whole time I am out thankfully.

So I am still playing the waiting game. Just got Pre-Approved from insurance for surgery. My Dr. originally told me it would be in December. But the nurse thinks it more realistically will be in January now. All hoops have been jumped through and now I sit and wait! I am not the worlds most patient person, but I am working on it. This process has been pretty long but I am ready! So I am playing the hurry up & wait game!

So they called today and I have to meet with the surgeon on Monday. I will be scheduled then. The nurse once again thinks it will be in January. Not much longer! Yay!

I just ordered the Unjury sample pack. I wanted to be able to try all the different types without spending a fortune!

I haven't had my surgery yet. It's in December. But last night my partner got all upset and said that she thinks I am going to find someone new after surgery. We had this discussion months ago that she was okay with it and not worried and eased all the concerns she had. Or I thought I had. I have no intention of finding anyone else. I am doing this for me and no one else. Also she pointed out that just because I will be changing my lifestyle she is not going to change. It's pretty much the opposite of what we had discussed. Before she said she wanted to eat healthier and be more active also. I'm frustrated and feeling like she has no trust or faith in me.. I also feel like she wants me to fail. I don't think I will have one. I have shifted to much healthier eating already. I am not craving a last meal. At least not yet. We will see how I feel come December when it is surgery time. I have already shifted my focus to protein.

So how did your relationship change after WLS? I hear so many horror stories. I do worry that my significant other and I will drift because of this new life style and me wanting to be more active and other things that seem to change after wls.
