I would love to see some amazing before and afters or even the in the middles. This has been an amazing process and even with the bumps and bruises I would not change any of it!!! My lowest weight was 159 I stay between 159 and 165 which as a woman is kind of spot on which is something to celebrate all by itself.

So pre surgery at 306 pounds my blood pressure was fantastically low my daily average was in the range of 100-110 over 60-70 which is fantastic. This is great news right well sure, but now I am having issues with blood pressure. Since January I have been getting dizzy at first my doctor said this happens to some patients and gave some precautions etc. No big deal a few weeks of dizzy as my body adjusts well I can do that. Problem is that it hasn't gone away and it has gotten worse when I wake up dizzy, when i stand to fast dizzy, when i bend over dizzy, and no more baths cause that is a fall waiting to happen. I am talking tunnel vision on that last one. I also now have a pretty constant mild headache, and have very little energy. My blood pressure now fluctuates from 100/60-80/50 and of course when i stand it drops further this sucks. They are referring me to a cardiologist, and until then I get to track my blood pressure randomly throughout the day and journal what I was doing right before I took it. I know that this can happen and I have been doing my research but has anyone else who is active on this site had to go through all of this have you gone on the medications to increase your blood pressure, did you have to stay on them, did the doctors try increasing you salt intake? As a side note my lab work was in and everything was perfect with the exception of my ferritin that was high everything else was all good. Just stressed hmmmm will it show on my blood pressure reading lol

My labs where for everything including clotting I have to admit my Dr. is very cautious everything was excellent no dehydration vitamin d was good everything was great the only thing on my labs that was off was my ferritin that is high and that one has been high for a few years blah I just feel blah today oh and yes fasting for 13 hours by the time they actually drew the blood sigh -
So I missed weigh in Wednesday so this is tracking Thursday :O) As of yesterday I made it to onederland!!!!! That is right I am 199.8 I could dance dance dance!! Went to the doctor yesterday and they readjusted my weight so now I am looking at moving down to 172 I am ok with that the sad news was they didn't add in vegies so I am still 100% protein and they want me to increase my daily intake to 75mg instead of 60 I have to admit this is going to be tough but hey one bite at a time

Food isn’t appealing and I’m not hungry

6 months out and I would rather drink than eat its just what my body wants I still eat my requirements and I don't skip but I would rather have my warm tea -
Bet you thought I was going to miss weigh in Wednesday haha not a chance but my morning ran away with itself so here I am sipping a protein shake and doing a little reflecting. My 6 months was 3 days ago I can hardly believe it and here I am today 105.4 pounds smaller not only that I am just a little bit away from Onderland. I have a Dr's apt next Wednesday and we will go over all my labs fingers crossed that everything is at the right levels, I have some questions for the Dr. and some worries about starting the next portion of the diet as well. This is such a crazy experience.

I almost feel like its not real you know
-
Nope my meals are sit down events where I take time out of my day to reflect and work on myself emotionally and mentally I do this 3 times a day to keep myself connected liquid shake I drink while I get ready in the morning it takes me 45 minutes to drink it but it's a bit of a mindless activity and my meals are almost double the size of my snack my snack half a protein bar is sliced up into bite size portions that I typically eat on my drive home again it's a bit more mindless it takes me about an hour to eat 1 ounce this way. Also it helps to remind everyone that I am still only on protein I don't eat vegetables or fruits and that the carbs I get come from my half protein bar and my shake. Oh and something to celebrate I hit 101 pounds down today I am just shy of 6 months post op
-
I eat three meals a day, I have one shake 25g protein, and my I usually have half a protein bar for my second snack I average 19 carbs a day and 1-5 g of sugar my protein is 60+ and my water intake is 50-60

I just grabbed my big book of surgery down to flip through it everything is done in oz's and in the big black ominous binder it specifically says that we are not to use measuring cups until we hit 75% of our weight loss its crazy how all the Dr's have a different way of doing things. I cant even eat vegies yet only things that at one point had a face my Dr's words swear to god lol I am at 98 pounds down right now and if we go off of my Dr's guess for my weight I have 27ish left to go which means that I should be flipping over to the new system mid April though I don't know how that is going to work when I can barely eat a whole large egg scrambled.
-
Thank you fluffy chick its good to know I was looking specifically at the picture it looks super tasty but man oh man Tonight I had 1.8oz of pork chop fat cut away I am still on 100% protein any who at 1.8oz my head begins to throb and my stomach starts to hurt I make sure to chew really well 20 each bite and it took me 20 minutes to eat tonight I am not complaining to much if I am still loosing weight you know what I mean
-
I don't mean this in a judgy way at all but how the heck can you eat so much I am still at 1.8 to 2 oz of food per meal and the 2oz makes me very uncomfortable (I am almost 6mos post op) my lunch is literally 3 slices of turkey lunch meat with a small amount of garlic spread. So maybe i mean it in a jealousy kind of way lol And FYI it looks super yummy
-
I full belly laughed at this so much truth so much
-
Right my poor vacuum its awful and my poor husband when we go out he spends a few minutes pulling the hair off my bac lol its hard to be sexy when that's going on lol

Yes therapy is a great great great tool and should absolutely be used during this process, the magic of tv shortens the therapy down to a few minutes but in reality it can take sometime to figure out. I don't know of any sites for Germany but for the US your can use www.psychologytoday.com they have a therapist finder tool you just type in where you will be and what you are looking for and it will bring up a whole host of therapists for you to work with. I don't know the laws for doing international therapy clients via skype or phone but once you find someone they will more than likely be willing to look into the logistics of how it can or cant be done.

I love Wednesdays so today I tiptoed up to the scale a bit nervous I still have been lacking sleep though the last two nights have bee good, and I have been doing a lot of yard work and I am very sore and a bit puffy so I was worried about possibly gaining or stalling out. I mean I know stalls happen and that the loss slows but I don't think I am ready for that you know what I mean. Any who I jump on the scale hope for the best and bam 1.7 pounds down ladies and gentlemen I will take that, I will take that straight to the bank!!! so thankful now if my hair would just stop falling out.
-
Weigh in Wednesday drum roll please I am lost a whopping 4oz lol hey its not a stall!!! My eating is normal, my exercise is normal everything but my sleep has been normal. I am working on a bout of not sleeping, a few hours a night at max and then I am tired all day its nasty not sleeping, but at least I know why I had a slow week and that is something to lean my very tired head on!!! I hope everyone has a great week up ahead
