My surgery date for gastric sleeve was on Sep 22, 2017. Going on 11 days pos op. I have no idea what to add to my diet. Up until now, I’ve just have water, broth, jello, popsicles, Gatorade and apple juice. I’ve been scared to jump into the next stage. Any suggestions on what I can add this week. Are the premier protein shakes ok now?? Hunger is really starting to set in and I’ve been extremely moody. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🤝 Also I have only lost about 5 lbs since surgery. Is that typical? I lost 8 lbs. in my 7 day pre op I had my procedure done in Mexico with virtually no after help at all. I’m feeling so lost.

Yessss I’m with you on this. I got nothing. Not even a return check appointment to have the stitches removed. Absolutely no return appt after I left.

I’m glad you got excellent information and support pre and post op. I unfortunately did not. I feel like once the surgery was done I was sent on my way to figure out what I had to do on my own. No follow up appointment whatsoever ever Nothing.

I got very minimal information after surgery. About 3 pages that aren’t detailed at all.

I did get some paper work (3 pages) with after care instructions and a 5-6 week break down to follow, but it isn’t detailed at all. It doesn’t tell you how many ounces you should have at once, or much less any brands of shakes or foods to have. Since I haven’t had any problems swallowing, or getting any liquids down. Or even having any discomfort what so after I drink, I’m scared to add things because I don’t know how much to add. So if I do have a premier protein drink how much of it would I drink....I’m assuming the 11 oz would be too much but I just don’t know.

Who are you going to in Mexico for your surgery ??

I had my surgery in Mexico and I’ve had no after help at [emoji53] I did get paper work for after care but nothing else. There is a break down of weeks, but it isn’t very detailed.
