  1. Reached the goal weight I set for myself!

    Will let my body slow down on its on and tell me when it is done losing.

    So happy! <3

  2. 6 and a half months after S.I.P.S. - down 100 LBS!

    Never, in my wildest dreams I thought this would happen in 6 and a half months! I am so grateful for this procedure!

    If you are struggling, feeling hopeless, afraid... pray, make your choice, and don't look back! You don't have to continue to struggle. There is hope!

      wow, that's amazing!! Who did your surgery? I had SIPs on July 17 and I'm down 90 lbs but had more to lose than you (started at 268 and goal is around 125 for my height (5'2"))

      Any tips/tricks? I thought I was progressing well but damn, you're near goal at 6 months! So incredible!

      @proudgrammy and @ebroms17
      Thank you so much for your kind and supporting words!

      This just seems like a dream! I hope and prayed so much, but every day I am in awe it is actually happening!

      @ebroms17 - I try my best to follow the protocol, but am also trying to listen to my body's hunger signals as far as when and how much to eat. And lots of water, whenever possible.
      You are doing fantastically and you will be here in no time! Congrats! :)

  3. A few days prior to my 6-month surgery anniversary, I have reached my second greatest goal: a "normal" BMI! 93.5 lbs down, I am no longer extremely obese, obese, or overweight! I feels so good to be healthier!

    SIPS surgery

    Hello! I did, 08/30/17. So far, I'm pretty happy with everything! I'm a revision from band to SIPS, as well. Best of luck to you!
  5. Today is my two month "surgiverssary"! I had SIPS on Agusut 30th and so far I have left 48 lbs behind.

    Here's to 50 more!

  6. Very good to know! Thanks for the insight. I haven't gotten my first labs back yet, so I don't know for sure I will need them. However, since I am extremely tired ALL the time, I think I probably will. I have been taking B12 in my multivitamin and as a separate tablet, but I don't notice improvement in my level of fatigue.
  7. Hi, everyone! Who prescribed you the B12 shots? Your PCP or your surgeon? Are they covered by your insurance?
