  1. Today I have been throwing up all my food. This has been the only day this has happened. It feels like it doesn't go down feels like food gets lodged in my chest. Has anyone experienced this? How worried should I be?

If it doesn't quit you might tell your Surgeon about it. Might be a Stricture. Easy fix. Don't wait too long, we can get dehydrated really fast. Sorry, this is happening. Take care of you!!

Chris I had surgery on the same date. Vomiting isn't normal You should definitely call your surgeon on this one. The only thing I can think of you are eating too much too fast. Make sure you take little bites and eat no more than a few ounces. You should still be on soft foods. Hope that helps

    Newbie -surprising first consult

No I had to do the liquid diet but your surgeon/Dr. Knows what's best for you. I had to pay all out if pocket my insurance did not cover me at all.

Am I the only one who gets annoyed by the question Why?

I take it all the way and say I don't want to die and I want to be able to one day see my grand children. After that they know anything they say is irrelevant. Please don't let anyone get you down we made a choice and no one has the right to make you feel unworthy. Feel bad for the haters they will make themselves known.

WOW! I can not believe how much you have to go through! I must agree with you! I know in our area you do not have to go through that many tests, typically it is a 12 lead EKG, psychologist, labs, and that is about it! I am sorry that they are running you around like that, its absolutely ridiculous! I can understand some tests but all of that is crazy, unless you are a high risk patient! (not saying that you are just saying that I am no Dr but I am in the medical field as is the wife and neither one see the reason for all the tests unless there are a lot of other things involved. Obviously not in you're case since you are passing all the tests!)

Sorry did not mean to post that here! But I must say congratulations! I know that you are happy! You forget how much you do enjoy eating something with texture and not puree!!!
