You went through The surgery, you already won! Some of us are struggling to get there. You got to revamp you way of eating and so do I Joanne. We all have issues and will work them out. Keep it up and measure, prepare, plan and stay strong. Just like life, sometimes we have to pick our self up and begin again. You got this! Sent from my SM-S550TL using BariatricPal mobile app

Losing dedication for surgery.
olympia25 replied to olympia25's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Ive been having doubts sbout surgery. I know I need it! I'm just having a moment. I have a few things to deal with right now and I'll get back on the band wagon. My next dietician appointment is next month. Hopefully I didn't gain any weight. I wanted to lose, but feel bloated. Diet is off. I'm glad I'm not the only one who goes through this. Thanks for sharing. Sent from my SM-S550TL using BariatricPal mobile app -
I'm in middle of my pre op journey. Sometimes I want to give up. Im an emotional eater and was scared to begin! I know I need this though. Is anyone or has anyone stopped the process and began again when their head straight. Looking for inspiration. Thanks. Sent from my SM-S550TL using BariatricPal mobile app

In between the old and new way of thinking.

I'm in the middle of being approved for surgery. I lost a little bit of weight, but find myself getting un focused. Still dealing with some life issues and my emotional eating. I don't know if I kept my weight off, but my next dietician meeting is next month. I can probably lose whatever I need too, but I'm having second thoughts about the surgery. My heart is not in it right now. Question....has anyone decided to stop the process on their own, and start over again? Sent from my SM-S550TL using BariatricPal mobile app -

Hi Kara, looking forward to more of your post. I'm pre o.o and are going through the motions of making appointments doing well with my weight loss so far. I lost 10 lbs in 11 days. I'm having a hard time getting all of food in. I need to re group. I need more spinach smoothies to get my veggies in. Anyway, health Care is rewarding, but the red tape can wear you down. I work with special need adults. They're fun, but a few need more help. It's something you should check out. We always need people who have it on their heart, and not just there for a paycheck. I understand! Just had my physical, lost 10 lbs so far on my own. Now I have to make more appointments, get time off of work, write in my good journal, make sure I plan out my meals....trust me it works, but it's exhausting. I think after I'm approved and the appointments slow down, I'll be ok. I haven't much time to myself lately and I'm just tired. I'm not regretkng anything, Its like having a second job! I'm hiding my surgery from family anyone else ?
olympia25 replied to mzsantiago88's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I told my sisters first. I have endless support from them. I hesitated to tell my father because he was always asking, how's the weight coming. I'm my head I thought, you still see it dont you ? I got so steamed. But you know, my sister talked to him about it and now he's one of the most supportive people on my journey. He wants me to be healthy. In my head, I thought he was being critical. It's bought us a little closer. We all have our own journey. Do whats right for you. As long as you have some support, you'll be ok. Good luck to you.
