like most people on here, i have battled with my weight for most of my life. tried every diet , could either never stick to it or life would get in the way and id regain it all back. i finally decided to opt for surgery in summer of 2017. i had thought abt surgery before but was too apprehensive. 
fast forward two years and i have one of the hardest years of my life. i leave my emotionally and physically abusive husband and decide to take control of my life. beginning with my health. and so here i am.
i haven't told many ppl abt the surgery. mom, sisters and some close friends. mostly bc this is a personal decision and i simply dont care what ppl think. as long as ive done my research and committed myself to the process.
im both excited and nervous as my surgery date gets closer. and this is truly the best i have felt in 10+ years. i wish everyone on here a safe and successful journey.
