I had surgery on 11/14/17. Up until that point; I had lost 31 pounds pre-operatively. I'm two weeks post-op and doing FANTASTIC! I have had no nausea or bowel issues. My only issue and I continue to have is pain. Currently, I'm off pain medicine 100% -- that's how manageable my pain is! Exciting!
I have my follow-up appointment with my surgeon and nutritionist on 12/14/17. I'm hoping at that point I can get guidance on learning how to portion and incorporate a "clean eating"/high protein diet.
What I am most excited for; getting my booty in the gym! Stay tuned!
