  1. I hit my 6 month mark in a couple of weeks, I have been doing absolutely everything by the book, except I had a terrible naughty month between December and January, I walk daily min 4ks, I eat max 1200 calories which consists of protein, fruits, salads and vegetables, I have one coffee a day with a tiny bit of sugar in it and skim milk it’s the only naughty thing I have. I’ve lost a total of 30 kilos, 66 pounds but it’s so bloody slow. I’ve only gone down one size, I’ve lost this much weight on my own in 2014, admittedly I put it all back on, but I sometimes wonder have I made the right decision? The only thing I’m not hitting is my water goals. Help?? I’m feeling so discouraged.
  2. I had my surgery the same day 59 pounds so much slower than everyone else, not where I thought I would be but still happy with any loss.
  3. I’m similar feeling exactly the same! I feel disgusting, disheartened and down! I’m not sure if it’s the surgery that’s made me feel this way but I was more confident 50 pounds ago! I was sleeved 22.8.17

    Hey guys!

Hi Jes how are you? I have a pill crusher and I eat them In 1/2 a teaspoon of organic honey. Only advice I have is get your water intake up, and hit your protein goals! I’m no expert tho I’m losing extremely slowly, I was sleeved 22nd August and lost 53 pounds in total, I’m also walking 3-4 ks a day and doing few weights etc.
  5. Thank you! I don’t look any different and I feel terrible about myself not wanting to go anywhere, is anyone else feeling like this? It must be something to do with the surgery! No one notices I’ve lost any kind of weight, I suppose that what happens the bigger you are the less people notice.
  6. I was sleeved 22 August, I have lost 52 pound 24 kilos but 6 of those kilos were in my pre opt, I exercise daily and nearly meet my protein goals everyday, I drink a litre of water a day. I have lost weight quicker than this pre surgery, so this is a bit disheartening! I also feel very self conscious, more so than when I was 52 kilos heavier! Haven’t gone down too much in clothes at all just bras! But hoping I can regain my confidence! And my big fat belly seems to not be moving at all, is this normal??

What Post-Sleeve Rules Do You Break?

You’ll be happy to know I now get my vitamins, I have been crushing and mixing with hunny, naughty but if sugar but glad I’m getting my vitamins
  8. Sleeved the 22nd august, When I see everyone’s progress I wonder why I’m so slow at losing I’m doing everything by the book I am now even getting my vitamins in drinking plenty of water even my detox lemon water in the mornings, and walking 3-4 ks at 5.30 am, I’m averaging around 1.5k a week if that, I’m not complaining I’m happy I’m losing but wow it’s slow compared to others, and it’s not like I have a small starting weight I’m still massive!
