Isn't it funny how 600 calories feels like too much now? Lol I remember one of my last meals before my pre-op diet was a Wendy's double with cheese, baconater fries, large Coke, large frosty.. Total of 2270 calories! And that was only my lunch!!

Hey, S Shore here! I was sleeved on 4/2 so I'm just over 3 weeks out. Good luck getting out your staples tomorrow! That was the day I finally moved without pain and yesterday at my 3 week point, I finally didn't feel like I could feel my internals moving around! (for lack of a better term) Who was your surgeon? I went to Beth Israel and Dr Jones was mine. He likes metal staples too -
At what point can you sit up or get out of bed without worrying..

... about popping a staple, or breaking something! Mysurgery date was 4/2 so I'm 12 days post op and I still have this fear everyday. Like I can feel things shifting when I get up, how much longer till I feel normal? -
So far I have went to a new patients group meeting and I have my meeting with the head of the weight loss surgery dept in a week... At what point do they go thru the approval process? I have BCBS-IL. The reason I ask is currently have PPO+ and I would have to pay almost 3k out of pocket, but we can change our health plan for 2018 and if I switch to PPO+ Premier, I would have no co-pay but a higher monthly cost by only 135

Thank you! I'm actually a little surprised that this isn't a frequent topic or maybe only my work lets us change ppo level every year?
