Somebody congratulate me, I just passed my Psych Evaluation! I used that online/phone company and I don't think our phone call was more than 20 minutes. At the end he wished me luck and i flatout asked him if I passed and he said I did with flying colors! What no ink blots? LOL

Has anyone here had to do their psych evals online? My doctor set me up to do this and I'm nervous that a 30-60 minute phone consult with an online psychiatrist or psychologist won't understand how important this eval is to me. If it's a bad one, say he's worried about the fact that I have some depression, he refuses to give me the green light? That will totally screw up my chances to get my surgery... Anyone else here had this experience?

Help me guys! I am due for my surgery next Tuesday the 16th, but I have blown my pre-op diet three different times. I think it’s because I have not gotten approval yet from my health insurance company, I just don’t think it’s real! I know I should just do what they say, beyond liquids for two weeks just in case, but I’m having a really hard time! Help me out give a girl a hand and prayer and any advice you have!

I'm nervous about the bypass...what if I fail, even with this? No one I know has done this, so there's no one to get on the phone with and ask them a million questions. I really need to be successful with this tool because my health depends on it. My hubby and kids are supportive, but no one knows how worried I truly am that this will be another diet I fail at....

I just joined this site yesterday and I was surfing the forums, and I couldn't help recognizing all of the fighting...is this normal? My doctor recommended this site as a source of support as I start this journey, but I'm not so sure. Is this site always so negative?

Is anybody else out there feel like I do? The surgery date will never get here, I've looked at so many pictures and wished it could be me, and damn I just don't think it's going to happen! I still have two dietary classes to finish and then they're supposed to schedule the surgery. Of course we're coming up to the holidays, so it my luck it'll be like next May! I'm getting discouraged! Because I'm having a revision from the original stomach stapling error, my doctor tells me that my surgery will be 6 or more hours. He's praying he can get this done and get an RNY.
