  4. I didn't experience the sever itching but I was really swollen. I applied ice packs to my stomach 2x a day. That helped with the swellen tremendously. I started while I was in the hospital. No one recommended it, but Ice helps swelling so it was a no brainier for me.

    6 days post surgery

I am 10 days post op had the samw procedure u had, band to sleeve. Im surprised to hear your rerurning to worl tomorrow. My Dr. forbid me from returning befoer 2 - 3 weeks. He said going from phase 1 to phase 2 you want to ensure that your body is ready & prepred. I'm still sore from surgery, some days arw better than others & emotionally you are dealing with alot, your new norm, especially when everyone around me is eating bacon, donuts etc. If you are anything like me you've build a relationship with food & now you've gone through a bad breakup. After any breakup you are gling to be emotional. Take stock in yoir feelings, I've starting writing them down, aclnowledge them Sent from my SM-G930P using BariatricPal mobile app
  6. I was just looking into ways to avoid skin sagging, genetics, age, how long you've been overweight does play a factor. What u can do as u lose weight, get a body brush to brush your skin, it increases circulation & skin renewal. purchase a colagen cream & massage needed areas: stomach, legs arms etc. hope this helps. I am 10 days post op & anything tight on my stomach still hurts. when u are comfortable put the shapeware on. I figured, I would give myself another month but in the meantime I cam start with the above Sent from my SM-G930P using BariatricPal mobile app

weight gain during 6 month weigh-in period

I was told at my 2nd office visit that I needed to show weight loss or my insurance company could deny the surgery. I lost 5 lbs my 3rd and final visit before submission to the insurance company and I was approved. You already have your approval so I don't see you having an issue. Just turn that + to a - and you should be good.
  10. There is a chance that you may qualify and if you do not qualify, there is an appeals process. I was recently approved by my insurance company but before submitting the paper work to the Insurance company I was told you may not get approved because I had gained weight. I had my lap-band drained in March and started to put a few pounds on. Visit #2, I was told I cannot put on any more weight, I have to show my ability to lose weight. My 3rd visit I was down 5 lbs and I was told you may not get approved because you gained weight and didn't lose all the weight gained. I wasn't told you cannot gain weight at my initial visit. I think they prepare you for the worst possible outcome. Good luck
