I agree with Iorax's advice. It is no one's business but your own on what you're having done. Good luck on your surgery!

Anybody from Winnipeg Manitoba?
ChiakiAngel replied to ChiakiAngel's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm doing good, thanks for asking! Had surgery on November 7, 2017 and am currently almost 30lbs down. -
I've lost 22lbs since the start of my preop diet, as for puree, I start that next week I believe.
-
I went back to work today. It was a bit tiring but doable. As for vitamins, I was told not to worry about them for the first couple weeks as I'm on liquids. Same with protein. Just try not to get dehydrated. I think I'm going to try the 3+3 vitamins. They have everything you need, including both calcium and iron as they use a form of calcium that doesn't bind to the iron. You take 3 pills in the morning and 3 in the evening, they apparently taste like sweet tarts. They're a bit pricey, being around $60 CAD a month... but if it means I don't have to take 5 different types of vitamins, it may be worth it.

I'm feeling pretty good. No nausea. I'm drinking tons of water and taking my pills. Only thing I don't like is giving myself blood thinner injections. Haha.

any November 2017 sleevers?
ChiakiAngel replied to Sugar42's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Don't be concerned about how much weight you're losing on the preop diet. Just stick to it and it'll help you develop the habits needed for when you have your surgery. Good luck! -

I definitely am sure of this, based on what I've seen. I'm on day 4 of pre-op. So close! -

One Month Post-Op... Woop woop
ChiakiAngel replied to jdmorin's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
How are you both doing? I'm also from Winnipeg and my surgery is November 7 this year. -
Hello! I am getting sleeved on November 7th through Bariatric Pal MX. I'm going to be documenting my journey on instagram as I feel that is the best way to keep myself accountable. Is anyone else documenting their journey either through instagram or youtube? I want to follow you guys. We should all support each other. I'm 24 years old and I just want to know what it feels like to be healthy again, something I lost when I was 11. Instagram: @sleeve_tastic

Stay away from ESA health (formerly wlf)

I was going to go through WLF a few years ago and just didn't have the money at the time. I am SO glad I did not. They sound like a terrible company.
