Hi everyone.
I had the sleeve performed on the 27th of April,2017. I have not had much pain except my back before surgery, due to being born with too many vertebraes. I had a laminectomy/ decompression surgery on June 1,2015.but not too much relief of the peripheral neuropathy in my legs and feet.
Everybody was saying, once you lose some weight, the pain may let up. I was only 211 at surgery time. I had the surgery to avoid becoming diabetic,to lessen my sleep apnea, and decrease my bad cholesterol numbers,
I have to be honest,i haven't been taking those horse pills of calcium as I should,,nor the protein drinks. Cause I can't stand the taste of the protein shakes.
1 week ago to this post,i developed SEVERE pain in both of my hips; pain so bad that I missed work for 5 days ,aug 31,sept 1,the weekend of the 2 and 3rd.and the labor day holiday.
Now I am suppose to head back to work on the 5th, and my hips are hurting so bad ,i can not sleep.
I know this is very detailed, but, I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing this traumatizing hip pain.
Is it because I have not been taking the calcium and protein supplements?
Have I caused this to myself?
Is it too late to correct this?
I just can't tell my doctor that I haven't been taking these supplements,
I would love to hear your thoughts.I will gladly answer anything you ask.
Thank you
