I am almost 4 months post-op Gastric Sleeve and during last month I noticed a small amount of facial hair developing on the left side of my chin. This month, it is very obvious and the hairs are growing on top of what now appears to be a rash. The rash is red, itchy, it burns and is spreading to the right side of my chin. I use Nair with Almond Oil for facial hair and it will remove the hair but it grows back within the beginning of the next week. I remember using Biotin before my surgery and I did grow upper lip facial hair so I believe that the Biotin is causing this unwanted facial hair growth and possibly the rash as well but I'm not sure. It's so irritating that I walk around scratching my chin more than my son's and my husband scratches their beards. I wonder if their are Bariatric Vitamins without Biotin and I would like to know if the Biotin is necessary to consume at all for Gastric surgery patients? Does anyone know what can be done or am I the only "bearded lady" here?🤔
