Mine is officially set for feb 14th! -
Had my first appointment of 6 scheduled.. and I've had several people ask me if I'm just at that point in my life where I feel this is necessary.. some of the few people I've told feel I'm not "big enough" for the surgery. I feel miserable though and I've tried everything.. I guess I just need help relating to others at this point or something. I'm 5'1 215lbs..

Literally my bmi is 39.9 so freaking close! But the doctors didn't say anything about it not being an even 40

Exactly,I want to improve my life now, I'm 26 years old and have two children that need me around. It gets quite discouraging.

I've told a very limited amount of people.. the ones I've told seem to be jealous but also seem to be interested in the process for themselves as well. My mother just recently had it done so she's be very supportive. My husband feels I'll get skinny and leave him [emoji17] it's a downer.

I too just quit smoking it's been about a month now, I vape.. it's glued to me!!! I'm currently vaping 6mg. They do several different types of testing if it's proven that you're a "smoker" I've been told they do a urine test as well. Nicotine is nicotine though, my doctor said if I can get down to 0% nic level 3mo before surgery then we'll be good so that's what I'm working towards. Hope that helps a little
