That could be possible

I see a psychiatrist weekly, he could not do the evaluation according to the staff where I will be having my surgery. I did the five hour evaluation and consult, I was told I was good to go. As I'm leaving I was told by the way your doctor will need a letter from your psychiatrist stating you are mentally stable..... If that was all they needed why did I waste my time?

I was told they go back as far as twelve weeks, where I will be having surgery.

I never rethought about it, I just occupy myself with things. I'm just starting out, they have put me on something like a keto diet. When I start thinking of food I draw, read, or bug my grand kids. I m sure after I have surgery it may be a bit different

I'm curious to know, how do you take existing meds after surgery? I take metformin, and something for restless leg syndrome as ell as anti depressant, non I would want to chew or pre-desolve.
-
Thank you for explaining that.

I have been trying hard not to smoke, doing it cold turkey. I found that my trigger is, when I talk to my sister by phone I have an incredible urge to smoke (because she is so negative) I decided not talking to her for a bit would be a good thing, it was to a point but the cravings can be over whelming

New found attention!!!
yvetted53 replied to penelope75's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have worked around men most of my life and one thing I have learned in conversation that a true committed man to a woman what ever the status, feels as if the have a secret lover with their mate when ever there is a change, be it hair clothes or even colored contacts. Be happy and I am sure you will find a way to enjoy every moment. My mother was as big as she was tall, my father spoiled her to hell. She was diagnosed with diabetes six years before she died, as she began to drop weight at a ridiculous rate, (going from 500 to280) we saw a change in my father for the worst. He no longer wanted anything to do with her, he was cruel, and cold. My mother died after their 33rd birthday. Sorry for the negative but, I just wanted you to appreciate the new husband as well. -
So how are things going for you post surgery?

What Was Your Final "straw That Broke The Camels Back"
yvetted53 replied to bigjoe102's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I weigh 255lbs and I have arthritis, and balance issues, I'm afraid if I fall my husband wouldn't be able to help me because of his physical issues. I need assistance with simple things. One day I was looking through some pictures of a family gathering, wen I realized that my view from chest down was deceiving, I thought I had a muffin top, when I saw the pictures I seen the whole bakery with a basement going on. I have been able to lose weight but never have been able to maintain , used to be muscular and would tell everyone that there was a lot of muscle weight included in my bmi. I realize things need to change so I'm starting my journey on the 22nd of Sept. -
