I don't drink coffee....but as a diabetic I definitely get dizzy when my sugar is too low..............5 weeks of liquids? I guarantee your blood sugar is too low - then you drank the cappucino and it came back up - maybe too fast? then dropped again - that would then make you dizzy. Not a doctor - just a thought. Go ahead and drink your coffee I say!

BeacheeGirl -- OMG I'm so sorry to hear about the accident. FIRST THING tomorrow morning - CALL your Insurance company back - let them know you are hurt -- most of the time they will then cover any and all expenses and then turn around and hit up the insurance of the guy who hit you - but you MUST call them before heading to the hospital or doctor! Best wishes on a fast recovery!

I made a personal decision to not eat bread - or as little as possible (unbanded as I am) -- and no garbage lol like the other stuff listed there And way back April 1st I gave up FRENCH FRIES for LIFE! yuck and double yuck - they are SO bad for you (for me anyhow) and I don't miss them one bit

Might be fun lol As far as not eating flour and sugar -- P'Nut you DID say within reason - like no extras and no cake, Cookies, etc. eh? No butt kicking for me thank you! I am looking to lose AT LEAST 10 lbs in June - hoping for more! I get together with my family and mom from out of state - want to at least look like I've lost weight by 4th of July! Going for 100% on scorecard the entire month!

Thanks for posting this thread! I am not banded -- but I have lost 11.5 lbs with the help of some wonderful people on LBT. I am struggling right now since losing weight (more importantly eating healthy) with my blood sugars. I was diagnosed with type 2 about 2 yrs ago. My A1C was over 11! My last A1C was 6.3 and I think the next one may be well under 6.0 (Non-diabetic). Lately they are too low. I take Avandia (24-hour med) once a day in the AM and then Prandin (only in AM now before breakfast). I see that I may not even need Avandia anymore as I forgot to take it today and my sugars have been too low all day! Get new bloodwork at end of June - will have to watch it carefully until then. So yep - from my experience anyhow - weight loss, eating healthy, exercise all add up to LESS medicine! Now for the rest of the meds to be stopped - I can't wait! EDIT: Just a few days since this post -- everything is changing quickly. I exercise EVERY day now and no more medicine is necessary -- I'm so happy - I no longer take Avandia or Prandin and also stopped the blood pressure medicine as it was only to guard my kidneys against the diabetes -- and I was COLD all the time so I bought a blood pressure machine and it is well below 120/80 all the time so that explains my being cold all the time. Today my #s were 119, 120, 162 (ate wrong), and back down to 92 again from just walking for 1/2 hour. So yes, eating healthy and a little bit of exercise (nothing marathon-ish) will do it - it's worked for me. I can't wait to see what my A1C is at the end of June. Will report back when I get the results.

I read just about anything and everything -- lol -- I have 'issues' too - meaning so many books stacked up to read or just finished they are about to tumble off the night stand! There is very little I won't read..........I read ALL of Patricia Cornwell's books last summer -- after being in school I was so board over the summer months -- Currently trying to read "The Constant Gardener" have to look up the author -sorry -- I saw the movie (rented it) and loved it but the book is moving along quite different from the movie - I may just ditch it and go on to something else....... I LOVED Da Vinci Code - book -- but enjoyed the movie even more!
