I only lose about 1 pound a week

I think we just have to remember that everybody's journey will be different. Some people will lose quicker than others, some people stay stalled longer than others. Just keep up the good work and when your body is ready it will start losing again. Sleeved 9/25 Starting Weight 261 Surgery Weight 241 3 Weeks postop 224

    GERD

I was sleeved 9/25. I had no issues with gerd prior to surgery, but when I tell you it is in full effect. It has nothing to do with what you eat. I get flare ups at random times. The worst is when your sleeping and wake up and your chest and throat are burning and you can barely swallow. I called my doc and they told me to take my prilosec at night and see if that helps. So I guess we will see. Hopefully this doesn't last forever.. Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Pregnant almost 3 months out

Not ignorant at all, children are a blessing. I guess you probably would have 10 kids if you didn't go to the clinic. For you to be so shallow to just blurt out abortion is ridiculous. I'm done with this. I said what I had to say. Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Pregnant almost 3 months out

That is so freaking rude, how dare you fix your mouth to say such a thing. You should be ashamed of yourself and I hope you don't have children, you probably don't because you probably selfishly aborted them. I can't stand ignorance. Grow up Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app

    Clothing for Hospital

I was sleeved on 9/25. The same thing I wore to the hospital is the same thing I wore home. I took a change of underwear, my phone and charger that's it. Truthfully I didn't even need my phone or charger because the last thing I wanted to do was to talk to anyone. They provide everything you need. Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app

  21. Hello everyone,I'm a married mom of 4. I'm 260 pounds 5'7. Dealing with weight issues since I was 18. I started my journey on 7/28 when I went in for my initial consult and was told I was a good candidate for wls. My bmi is 40.5. So process started, I went through psych eval, support group, endoscopy, sleep study, exercise classes, blood work, nutrition appt. All of these appointments done by end of August. On 9/1 was my follow up appointment to make sure all of my criteria has been met. Everything was met, and they said next step would be them calling with a date. On 9/5, I'm scheduled for surgery on 9/25 (now I'm panicking, and nervous) on 9/7 I meet the doctor for a presurgery visit, it was going over what to expect pre/post. On 9/11 I have to go to hospital for preop EKG, and blood work, a long with my $500 copay I have bcbswny. Also I start my 2 week liver reduction diet. On 9/12 I go to primary to get medical clearance. Then it's just a waiting game until 9/25 @1pm. I'm excited, anxious, and nervous all at the same time. Anyone have any suggestions for pre surgery jitters would be great. Congratulations to everyone, especially the nsv I've been reading about[emoji1] Sent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app
