I am 6 months out I had the sleeve on October 3 rd. I still can't eat very much. Like today I had 1 egg for breakfast a Greek low fat yogurt for lunch and a two ounce slice of pork shoulder with about three slices of potatoes and a couple small slices of cooked carrots. However I have not lost any weight in about a week now. That worries me. I have lost 89 pounds so far and need to loose 50 more by Christmas. So that I can have back surgery. Then I still want to loose about 40 more after that. So hopefully I can get going again. I have trouble with my back and lots of knee pain so walking is not an option at this time. Looking for swim classes.

The gummies I take are really good I got them from Costco they are Kirkland brand multivitamins. Ive been taking them everyday since surgery. No issues with them at all. -

Anyone lose more than 50lbs in this age group (over 60) ?

I'm 62 had the sleeve surgery on 10-03-17 so far I have lost 58 pounds. My knees still hurt but I'm sure I will need to get them fixed. Otherwise I feel good. So happy I did this. I was not in any pain after surgery. I still can't eat much more than 1/2 cup of food. But I'm never hungry so it's not a bad thing. I cannot eat chicken, bread, crackers, or rice. I don't feel well if I do. In fact I just don't like to eat anymore. Which is ok by me. I eat because I should. -
I was sleeved on Oct. 3rd and am still trying to get all my fluids in and protein in if I get the fluids I don't get the protein . I am never hungry. I haven't tried anything other than my protein or fluids. I drink beef broth for some of my fluid because warm goes down better. My protein is premier from Sam's and a fuzzy Navel drink from the vitamin store. I have had a 1/2 cup of tomato soup. But that's it. I am never hungry. I've lost 30 pounds last time I checked I don't have a scale.

Congratulations you look great! -
I have the same thing but on my left side! It hurts when I take a deep breath now too or try to lean forward to get up. I first noticed when I leaned on it. Sharp pain only when I leaned on it.

I lost 20 pounds on my two week pre op. Post op is going slower but that's ok. It's not a race. I'm losing and that's what it's all about. I don't have a scale and I'm not sure I want one. When my pants get too loose. I'll go to the next size down. I get on the scale at the Dr. That's good enough for me. Oh and my surgery was Oct. 3rd I got sleeved. I did not have any pain as far as the surgery. I came home on Friday and went back to work on the following Monday. I have had back and knee pain for a very long time hoping this will help soon.

I had my surgery on the 3 rd I have bad knees as well and my back hurts so much I cannot stand longer than 5 minutes and I am in tears. I hoping that I will lose enough weight so that I can get moving.as soon as I can get in the water I will go to the community center and take some water exercise classes. But for now if I'm sitting I'm moving my legs or arms just to be moving in some way.

The vitamin store has a protein drink fuzzy Navel it's so good. I'm so sick of primer protein right now.
-
I'm one week out and two medicine cups and I'm full! It takes me all day to get 30 ounces of protein drink in. I have a very hard time with water I don't like it much. I do crystal lite. Protein drinks are not my fav. I drink 1/2 cup of beef broth for something different. That takes me a while but goes down better.

My surgery date is October 3rd 2017 5 days to go!!! Prop diet is going well! I made sure I had different flavors of protein drinks Sams had Carmel banana cream chocolate and I got a fuzzy Navel flavor from the vitamin shop. It's so good. So if have a variety it's not bad! Good luck!!
