I had Gastric sleeve done in June 2017. Everything was going good and 2 months ago I lost my dad and my dog all within the same week. I’m suffering from high anxiety between dealing with my emotional loss and preparing for my wedding in 3 months. Now I’m just eating to eat and I’m scared to gain my weight back. Any tips? Have anyone done a pouch reset? How can I get back on track?

@jodi1980 thank you. I am seeing someone but my eating is getting out of control and I’m worried that I might of expanded my sleeve. I have to get my mind in control and get back on board with my healthy eating and the gym.

Thank you allwet. I am doing counseling but mentally it’s still hard. I know I have to break this cycle before it gets worse.

Thank you and I didn’t think to call my insurance to find out. My mind is a blank these days. I will reach out to them tomorrow to see.

I hit a stall 2 months after my surgery for about 3 weeks. I felt the same way, a bit discouraged but I kept on doing what I was doing and didn't change anything until finally the scaled moved for me. I did research and spoke to my surgeon about it. It's just your body trying to get accustomed to the weight loss.

My sister says she goes through it also. I cannot handle plain water. One sip and it kills my stomach. I had to go out and buy some sugar free water enhancer and even that is disgusting. I can do only Powerade zero the gape flavor, but I can only drink so much of that stuff. -

Hi, I was sleeved on June 12, 2017 and I have noticed that for the past few weeks my stomach has been sensitive and anything that I find gross makes me throw up easily. I was not like this before the surgery. Has anyone else had this issue? -

No, no diet changes. My stomach is just really sensitive to certain things after I eat.
