I have been banded for just about 1 year. I have had 2 fills and throw up about 2 or 3 times a week. All of this would be okay with me if I were loosing weight. I've lost 25 pounds altogether, including what I lost before surgery. I really thought this would be the answer for me. I've failed at every other diet I've ever tried and I'm a failure at this too. I'm sad.

I'm going through the same thing. I was banded in Mar and have only lost 30 pounds. I'm thinking maybe I need another fill but it is frustrating not to loose.

Did/Do you have to do a pre-op enema?

No, I didn't have to have an enema. I'm continually surprised by the different rules that different doctors have. Take care, -

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but it feels like I can no longer burp. Is this true? I was banding 3/26/08 and feel great except for this one issue. Can you tell me your experiece? Thanks!!
