  1. Please discuss your successes, difficulties and tips here 💕 how excited are you to be one year ???
  2. My nutritionist said she’s had patients who never lost any weight !! Wtf
  3. I’ve lost only 40 pounds since August 25th 2017, is anyone else having same issue? I walk everyday and do weight training 5 days a week. Never eat out have high protein Adequate water. Hypothyroid patient. Anyone with me ? Stalled 5 months
  4. Is there anything that’s worked for breaking stalls ?
  5. My hypothyroid is under control, hypo makes u gain weight by slowing your metabolism. I do look for stevia. Consulted a family friend who is Batiatric surgeon , he said there are certain ppl genetically such that this surgery will not benefit and we cannot test for those genes yet ☹️☹️☹️ I hope I’m not one of them. I’m doing my weights n getting steps in ! I’ll cut all carbs for two weeks n see if my weight changes.
  6. That’s how my day looks ! Do u really think I can ingest 3k calories a day? No way!!! I’m always less than 1000 cal. I’ll log my food for a week n be back
  7. My nutritionist sucks ! She asked me what I had every day and asked me to continue the same ! Clearly it’s not working ! How do I break stalls I’m very upset about this
  8. Hey Alexandra. I am right there with ya, have stalled for 6 months and I’m only 8 months post op. It’s hard to be enthusiastic cuz how long can u when you see no weight loss? I do sugar free everything , obviously no soda .. my surgeon and dietician were of no help. I’m also hypothyroid & have history of pcos. I’ve started metformin pills again, hoping it would help. My weight moves 2-4 pounds up and down but has always been on this weight since 6 months. Very annoying! Motivation is a finite source and can’t just keep going on like this! There’s got to be something else going on but I don’t know what it is. I exercise 5-6 times a week for an hour & half with cardio HIiT & weights for 45 mins. I’ve no clue what to do and frustrated... I dont have cheat days although yes once in a way I might eat out but even then I pick healthy options! And come on even if we cheat we can only consume like 70ml of whatever! I can’t even have an entire drink ! Give me some info bout u... do you have hypothyroid pcos? What was your start weight? How much have you lost so far? I lost only 44 pounds from Pre surgery till 3 months post op and stopped altogether!
  9. Hi wondering if there’s anyone who’s done the surgery and does the diet n exercise but hasn’t lost weight? Well maybe u lost some preop n some post op but did it stop and you never lost again? If so pls comment cuz that would be v valuable to me. Also has anyone been diagnosed with cushings?

    No weight loss

I kinda never got over my first stall . Been 5 months and ir sucks. Last week I lost 2 pounds but that’s extra 1.5 hours at the gym everyday ... what’s the point of surgery if I’ve to slog harder than before ? One of the doc has asked me to check for Cushing after a month
  11. I’m in the same boat . What’s the plan?
  12. I lost just 30 since August and I’m depressed
  13. Wait you lost 94 since August???
