    Odd Question

I am a year post op and stay dehydrated and alot of the same challenges. I started drinking flavor white balasmic vinegar. I like orange, lemongrass mint, blueberry and raspberry ginger. A shot in the morning and one at night and sometimes i add a shot to water in the day. It works and everything is moving. Even flushes kidneys. Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app

    What I want to believe

I had gastric bypass and it changed my Outlook on food. I also don't eat red meat and very little white meat. My whole relationship with food. I loved food and now I hate it. I am over a year out and feel 20 years younger and hit goal. Alot of people don't recognize me and that is ok. I fought the surgery and cried on operating table as I felt like a failure but know I wish I had done it sooner. Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app

Doing PROTEIN SHAKES FOR A MONTH!

Bottom line work with your team and your doing great! Just focus on the program and what they say to do. I thought the exact same thing and in a year lost 120 lbs. Smoothies work for me but maybe not others. Diversity makes the world go round. Record: I ate meat before surgery and loved it. Afterwards, my body fights back on meat and dairy. I listen to body. Doing PROTEIN SHAKES FOR A MONTH!

Work with the whole team, nut, fitness and etc. I did and it worked great. my surgeon advised to stop protein shakes. I did veggie shakes instead. I also only eat veggies now. I had the same fear around that point. We just have to be patient and all will be good. Good luck! Here for ya if u need me Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app

9 Months out With Severe Constipation

I am right there with you. I have a hard time with water, red meat and nuts. They tell me to try to get more water in to help. I eat just veggies and it is a challenge. Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app

    10 months P.O - CALORIE COUNTING???

Let me clarify the 500 difference is between calorie in and calorie out(exercise) daily. I aim for 59 minutes Mon thru Fri. I fight dehydration non stop and constipation. I found that Sonic has a water and they will add fresh fruit. If I skip Sonic water I only get 32 oz a day. Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app

    10 months P.O - CALORIE COUNTING???

I had my one year post op surgery. My surgeon is awesome and said to keep a 500 mark between calorie in and calorie out. I use my fitness app to track all of it. My food intake ranges on 550 to 1200 daily. If I workout intensely I can eat and drink more. As long as we keep a difference of 500 we will lose. Sent from my XT1650 using BariatricPal mobile app
