How is your process going? As for me the surgery went well. I am back at work this week and get tired easily but other than that I feel great! -

9/28/17 is the date. I hate exercising besides swimming because I wear out before it does any good. Swimming is good because it takes that weight pressure off which allows me to do more... I fell down a flight of stairs around Easter and hurt my shoulder. I am still having issues with so that makes swimming hard right now but I am working around it [emoji4] I ordered samples from Bariatric Advantage... as a Kaiser patient you get a discount. I also am trying samples from Celebrate... they are pretty good and you can get a discount from them too [emoji16] How are you doing with the meal plan? -

I do like the premier chocolate shakes... have you tried any other flavors? Are you using an app to track your meals? I got my confirmation for surgery today... in the letter he said I need to be below my goal weight on the day of surgery or else it will be cancelled... that is sooo nerve racking[emoji51] -

That's awesome!!! I received an email from the surgeon today and he gave me the dates that he is available to do the surgery. I chose 9/28/17. I am so excited!!! I really need to start focusing on finding the vitamins... Sunday I am going to Costco to find the Premier protein shakes.... what is the best flavor in your opinion and how much protein is in it? -

My surgeon is Dr. Khayat. He was very nice. I finished my psych evaluation...yay! Right after the evaluation I emailed the surgeon to see if I can book my surgery. I will let you know what he says:) Good luck tomorrow. -

I have my psych evaluation today and a little nervous about it but I'm sure it will be fine. My surgeon isn't requiring 10% which I am thankful! I only had to lose 10lbs but every surgeon is different. Right now I am sampling different vitamins and protein shakes to find which ones I like. I wish Kaiser offered a starter package of these things to make sure I am picking the right ones but they don't [emoji30] There are so many choices! Which surgery are you going to choose? I chose the sleeve. As for the carbonation... I am right there with you... I understand the reasoning but I don't like it. I no longer drink carbonated drinks and it has been hard but not as bad as I thought it would be. Have you scheduled your classes yet? What did you think about Rick the nutritionist? -

The process has been very easy. Went to orientation and then met with my surgeon on the same day. The surgeon gave me a goal weight to meet. 2 weeks later I met with the nurse practitioner and took the nutrition and life style classes. Now I am scheduled to have my psych evaluation next week.... you will get a lot of information at the orientation[emoji16] -
