I get sucked back in - to this pit of brimstone and hellfire! So if all the mods have been revised to the sleeve - then are we all just lemmings being controlled and led to the cliff's edge whilst we fight amongst ourselves - is there a greater evil out there than stupid bandsters?

  10. Food was hard today - was working a charity golf tourney and options were limited: B: 1/2 balance bar L: 1 slice each turkey deli meat and cheese and couple chips - all came back up S: unfortunately snacked throughout day to stay awake (not a lot but more than I should) - only options were different chips and cookies and soda or beer D: various bites of a large banquet buffet and couple bites cheesecake - nothing was healthy - at all!

I apologize if I grossed anyone out with my post this morning - I was just very mad and frustrated. Golf tournament was fun - we had a good group of nurses who got to work it together - eating through the day was hard and dinner, although good was not healthy and drinks were too strong for me to even enjoy on no sleep. But home now and sadly with my 10th wind of the day - will now attempt to stay up for a couple hours to try and make it through most of the night asleep. Everybody - Have an amazing day tomorrow!!!!

Ok - so I'm glad that I can occasionally share words of wisdom from my job - since apparently there are some basic life principles not taught in society today: If your 70 something year old mother and grandmother has not moved an inch in over a week (literally laying in same position on couch) and really wont eat anything - then yes she does have to go to the hospital no matter what you think. In addition the absolutely gross stench pouring off of her from the wounds that cover 2/3 of her body from laying in the same position for so long (bad enough to make very hardened nurses run out of the room) are an issue - (just for your general info) - and you probably should not just assume that she was bathing herself if: 1 - she smells that bad and 2- you've already stated she hasn't moved in over a week (even though you see her every day). My next point - the maggots that are living beneath both her breasts, under her panus and in her vagina - are not normal inhabitants and it should be dealt with. My final point - you and the other 15 members of her children and grandchildren deserve to be shot! IF you come home one night and you find your husband passed out on the couch and he is still in the same position 24 hours later - this also should be looked into even if you think he has probably just taken too much morphine and ativan (btw - that's not normal either) - Seriously saddened at the state of mankind this last night! Have not slept but on my way to go volunteer for a charity golf tourney today - need some COFFEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everybody have a great day!

Ok I promise - I really am not obsessed with alcohol - but here is the drink recipe from yesterday - had the name all wrong: Ginger O Ingredients 2 (1 1/2 by 1-inch) slices fresh ginger, plus slices for garnish 1 slice orange Ice 3/4-ounce rum 3/4-ounce orange-flavored rum 2 ounces pomegranate juice 1-ounce fresh lime juice 1-ounce simple syrup (equal amounts sugar and water heated until sugar dissolves; cool) Splash soda water Directions Muddle the ginger and the orange in a glass with some ice. Add the remaining ingredients and strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with ginger slices and serve. I think everybody should try this and the Joolito from above and decide which they like better - ok go!

Lulu - thought of you tonight. Was reading in our local monthly KC food newpaper - there was an ad for a local organic sheep farm and they're offering cheese-making courses this fall - thought I remember you saying you had goats. Think you need to work on this - (in all your spare time of course!)

TPG: Watermelon Mojitos: chunked up a seedless watermelon and pureed it down with a bunch of fresh mint and let it sit for a little while - then strained it off using a very fine strainer. If you don't have a fine strainer - put a couple paper towels over a regular strainer. I fill a tall glass with ice and then squeeze the juice of 1/2 a lime per glass. add simple syrup, agave nectar or artificial sweetener as per taste. Pour in a good measure of rum and fill the rest of the glass with the watermelon juice. If you are not into drinks as strong - add a little lemon lime soda. I put a spring of mint in and decorate the glasses with a slice of lime and watermelon ENJOY!
