Slim - you're the best! Happy Birthday Heartfire! Have a blast at dinner
-
You all have me about peeing my pants laughing. My dog is freaking out because she doesn't know what's wrong with me. Oh - I needed that! Yes work area is bad - funny thing is though it's only about 7-8 min drive from home (and my neighborhood is awesome) and another 5-7 min on the other side of me is one of the richest (old money) neighborhoods in the midwest - the Russel Stover Mansion, HR Block mansions and various other gigantic homes (went in one once that had a dining room that sat 124 people!) Guess it's always about balance. And as far as the young hot men - I do seem to be surrounded by them - and yet notice i don't ever post about being involved with anyone - going to have to work on that. One of my good friends said it's because every man wants my cooking - and apparently any married man she knows would leave his wife to eat my food - interesting and yet disturbing at the same time - good thing I don't support adultry!

Waist band - I believe you may have have missread my post. I agree with your statements except for the common miss-statement regarding 'clear' urine. Clear does not mean dilute. It's the difference between color and clarity (as we are expected to assess as nurses) here are sample ranges: clear ---- clear w/ sediment -- more sediment -- cloudy dilute -- yellow -- drk yellow -- amber -- drk amber --etc Clear means free from sediment - dilute (or weak / lack of color) means very / if not over hydrated Many times people mistakingly use the word clear when meaning dilute or weak urine. You should never have the goal of urine being void of color or dilute - you should hope your urine, however, is clear

Well I make mean chicken fajitas w/ homemade guacamole and roasted tomato salsa - this just happens to be on the menu for tonight. Might make a grilled corn and black bean salad as well - This is how I pay the boys who work on my house.
-
tap - that is so cool. Imagine if you ever traced the McDougals - living history - I love it!

I love books! My addiction to them is almost as strong as my food addiction. I buy them faster than I can read them. I love every kind - mystery, drama, suspense, chick, books, the twilight series, epics, etc etc. One of my all time favorites is The Power of One and recently I really enjoyed The Shadow of the Wind - for book lovers I highly recommend the latter (well actually both) but The Shadow of the Wind itself is about the power and mystery of books. One of my best friends and I always joke that if we ever won the powerball - we would open a dog play place and take in about every stray dog we could find. I unfortunately only have one with two cats (one's really like a dog) - b/c everyone knows I can't say no. I fostered a second dog for several months recently but she went back to her home - very hard on my heart!

--:tongue2::crying::crying::mad: -Hangs head low in utter despair, dejected! Guess I'll have to go bake some blueberry muffins.

No NO Lulu - I need Tap! My home is in a severe state of terminal illness - it's needs some serious reviving. So let's see what do I have to offer: I have heat and sun (maybe not as much though), I have a dog, no pool, no private wildlife preserve - Buuuuttttt I do know young hot men!
-
Don't know that I've ever specifically had farina - but for some reason I think it's like cream of wheat - which I eat all the time - w/ some splenda brown sugar/ maple syrup or peanut butter and splenda. it also helps with just a pinch of salt - balance and all. SOmetimes I'll saute a diced up apple or pear in a little butter (opt) and the brown sugar and syrup w/ a little cinnamon and nutmeg then pour it over the top of the cereal.
-
Welcome Back Georgia Girl! I need accountability too - I take my mind of it for a day or two and I've eaten who knows what - I am fighting a bad mental battle - I have basically spent most of the day eating sf popsicles and fudgsicles - i mean seriously. I did have 2oz of hamburger w/ cheese spread on it and 1/3 c. baked beans for lunch Dinner should be better - making parmesan crusted dover sole w/ lemon and capers and a caprese salad
-
SNT - they are cute, sweet, good guys and young (sensing a minor trend this week) but they're taken ---- with each other.
-
Card has to be pulled - the words are spoken! Not even a Cowboys fan (cringes and ducks as words are typed) but his ticket usage should probably be withheld until he learns proper man behavior again. Punishment should probably be all the before mentioned tasks and then fanning you with a palm!
-
lulu - that just isn't even right - tell him he can only watch martha in the winter.
-
What an exciting morning for everyone - sleep to those who need it, enjoyment of fresh good food, slipping into something smaller, etc, etc - I LOVE IT! I hope the joy continues all weekend long. Have some guys coming over to work on projects for the house. Need to get out and weed though!
-
The 20's are probably too young for me too - but it sure was fun to be there. then there's tonight - watching tv just me and the dog
-
TPG - Damn! Maybe we should all take up a collection and get her some - b/c she's obviously an addict and gets nasty when denied. Who would want to be with that?!?
-
Glou - glad to share the trauma drama with you for the day! Lu - never too early for wine - especially on a friday! Glad your feeling better. I have recovered - only able to get 4 hours sleep because I had an appt this am. Why would I want to deviate from normal anyway - fortunately I don't get hungover - so just another day. I am bored though - mostly b/c I'm putting off the massive house cleaning I need to do - why can't someone entertain me (imagine me on the floor, kicking my feet and rolling around like a 5 yr old child) - that's the sentiment intended Oh to be back to last night, joyfully intoxicated, dancing and surrounded by sexy men in their 20's
-
That's funny because :cool2: makes me think of Plain. Think the dummy should stay in the manual! Tap - hope your sleeping!!!
-
Walks in hanging head low in shame. The amount of alcohol I drank tonight should not have fit into my body. I don't know what was more fun - the drinking to excess and not caring since it's a rarity for me, enjoying bar food and the fact that it stayed down or the ridiculous flirting going on between myself and my out of town friend who is 8 years my junior - damn he's hot though! (ok so not really a contest but it made for an amazing night) Plain - forget the roofies - I use propofol on almost a daily basis at work
-
Better make room for another - I want in on all that!
-
Hello to all - thank goodness my work week is over and will be getting my drink on tonight  (friends in town) Beth - Happy Belated B-day Lulu- hope you feel better Brandy - now I'm singing the song - wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't dancing as well! Slim - sorry bout the braces - hang in there
-
Slim- OMG I love the PB2! Haven't tried reconstituting it w/ water to try as plain peanut butter - but will probably use it more for flavoring anyway. I tried it just quickly 2 ways this am (about to go to bed) - first just took a little pinch to taste as is. Was immediately hit with a wonderfully intense roasted peanut flavor - surprising since the drying process really lightens the color - and I was a little nervous. 2nd - was a little decadence - mixed 1 plastic spoonful pb2 and 1 spoonful of my sf, ff, cal free chocolate syrup - that is what I am talking about - and no guilt - other than I am eating before I go to bed!
-
our last y-chromosome cavity removal was a bottle of brut cologne there was also the x-chromosome large deli dill pickle. were about to get a trauma patient in: man was driving around with his dog - got out to pee along the side of the road - left dog in car - dog put car in gear and RAN OVER his owner!!!! (note to self - be nice to your dog)
-
PLAIN: I usually stick an assortment of tinsel, bows and confetti in my underwear before I drive. I figure it'll be a nice surprise for the medical staff if I'm involved in a MVA. Now that I might find hysterical - do the bows match your dress or is it just what you have on hand? Isn't that why they call it a "crack pipe"? Good one - I'll give you that. What really cracks me up is that we have to log it into security - I'm like seriously - aren't there some things I can just throw away?!
-
let me just make clear - my speechlessness (is that even a word?) was in no way a reflection of your responses but that the whole conversation ever came to light - Wow! and some of the other people responding - geez! I just wanted to tell them to breathe - life goes on i promise.
