August Sleevers-How are you doing??
Jeaniered replied to Ash_Bri85's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Well it worked, I upped the calories to 900-1000 and I’ve lost another 4 pound. Think I needed to give my body a kick start. -
Am so tired of people who ask every ten minutes why they're not losing weight

August Sleevers-How are you doing??

I had a knee replacement and couldn’t get the excercise I wanted/needed. I got a chair workout that helped until I could get mobile again. I still managed to loose weight. Good luck. -

August Sleevers-How are you doing??
Jeaniered replied to Ash_Bri85's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hi everyone, 6 months in and I wondered how many calories a day everyone’s eating. I try hard to stick to 800 and manage 99% of the time. I try to exercise but a knee replacement slows my down. I’m Seeing my surgeon next week and I’ve been told he might increase my calorie intake to 1000 per day? Would I still lose weight? Although I can only eat a small amount at a time, I do find I’m hungry more often and am fighting not to graze. -

Started at 304 got down to 283 before sleeve on 8 August. Lost fast a beginning around 30 pounds first month, then it slowed down, nearly 6 months later I have lost 75 pounds. Now 229 and losing on average 2 pounds a week. Sometimes the scales don’t move but the tape measure does, I have gone down more that 5 dress sizes. I used to dread stalls, drove me mad in the beginning now I just follow the pattern and wait for it to pass. Its years since I have been so happy within myself. I feel normal, wear wonderful clothes and am so much healthier. I want to lose more, and stick religiously to Proteins and very few carbs, I struggle with Water and never quite make it. However, if I didn’t lose another pound I would still be so much happier than this time last year. -
Anyone that started around 300 want to share your stats?

I’ve lost 70 pounds since my sleeve in August so think I’m a middle of the road looser, I too struggle to do anything other than walk due to knee problems. I’m loosingon average 2 pounds a week. I eat 800-1000 calories per day and stick (where possible) to protein, fat, and veg. I’m sick and or sneeze if I eat more than 4-5 ounces at a time. I’m over the moon with how I look now, I know I need to loose around another 30-40 pounds and will get there but if this is as good as it gets, I’d be happy enough. Life is so much better. -

I stayed the same, but I’m happy. Lost 3 pounds just before Xmas. Which is my normal pattern. Loose 3-4 pounds over a few days then stall for a week. All I ask is - Please just keep going down. -

So much temptation it’s hard to resist, but taking a bite of each of the things you like is ok, just don’t eat it all. Be proud of yourself for leaving the rest. It’s not a waste, it’s only a waste when it’s on your waist! Don’t forget to track your food so that you are being honest with yourself and allow yourself some extra calories. Good luck it will be over soon. -

I loose slowly but steadily. I stalled far a few days at beginnng of December, so increased from 800 to 1000 and I’ve lost 6 pounds since. 66 in total. I can’t do the water thing, I’ve tried, it became an obsession that took over my life. So I’ve stopped worrying and drink when I need to. 53 pounds to go and if it takes till next August then fair enough, I have never felt so good, or so normal! -
