  1. Just followed you on instagram [emoji4] you're first in our group!

Awesome! I think I accepted you! It was the only Angie I had pending!

I made a separate Instagram to document my journey like so many others!

Anyone can follow me there at: rnybeauty
So feel free fellow peeps. I usually just accept people that have a WLS info in there bio.

I am? I am the first so far? Eekk! Less than a month! I can't believe it!

  2. I've had a weird thought crossing my mind since last night... I wonder what my face REALLY looks like? I mean, I've been overweight since I was 5 yrs. old. What if my real face isn't round? What if I have a square jaw line? Bahahahaha
Sorry guys! Just posting random thoughts [emoji16]

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 bhahahahaha

True! I see so many peoples faces change! You should make bets!

  3. What is causing you to consider switching to the sleeve [mention=324364]rnybeauty[/mention]? Just curious, feel free to talk through your thoughts with all of us [emoji4]

Well I follow so many people on Instagram and see they are all successful and had the sleeve done. I do get nervous of the dumping syndrome. More people I am going to be traveling out of the country more often and there will be so many new foods! I like the fact that you can still do more normal things like take regular pills, etc. I feel that I will always have to explain myself and can't do random things.
But the reasons why I chose RNY was because I do see that people get revisions and would hate that. I would just want to do it once! I also like the it is the "gold standard" and had been done the longest. And of course more weight loss than the sleeve.

Just something that I am thinking about, but I think if I didn't do the RNY, I would regret it!

  4. Everyone is so excited, and don't get me wrong I'm also super excited, but I'm kinda scared ****less at the same time. I keep thinking "Do I really need to do this?" and finding reasons not to and then something happens that affirms my decision like "Yes, you really DO need to do this!" I know I'm not going to back down but the thoughts are just there. Anyone else feel this way or just me?

I am super excited! I know there will be a period of surgery regret (from what I hear people say) but all the people I follow, say it was the best decision of their life and they would do it over again!

My only thing I am uncertain of is the type of surgery I want. Rny vs sleeve. I am scheduled for the rny and most likely will do that, because I think I would regret it if I changed... but still thinking.

  5. Yaaasss!!! I hope it goes by fast! I still need to lose weight before surgery!

Anyone on instagram? I follow so many ladies that have had weight loss surgery...Anyone have favorites?

    Mine are:

    Be.shrinking
    Crystaljones_wls
    Dallas_vsg
    Theproteinbabe

We are all in this together!

  6. I changed my surgery date to 10/5 because I go to school on M/W. 3 days later from my original date. But maybe I won't miss as much school!? They say I can return to classes after a week! That's crazy to me!

I will be going on a cleanse starting Monday and then a liquid diet after that. My pre-op is 9/27!

Are you all excited for next month!?

  7. Yes there are many types and I've tried nearly all of them!
the liquid vitamins and Calcium ended up regurgitated. the chewable had similar effect on me, I gagged and heaved etc...(you all don't need details).
The gummies seem to have the very best outcomes for me. i'm doing great with my levels and did a lot of homework to find the best carb count gummies so I wasn't eating pure sugar. so far so good.
Ironically, I take Vit D gelcaps and the only Vitamin level that i'm low on is Vitamin D! so I had heard about Vit D drops and i'm thinking of trying those.

Which brand do you use in Vitamins and Vitamin D?

PatchAid Vitamin Patches
