Cool...I just wanted to have a general idea that within hours I will need to be up and going- God willing everything goes well. Thanks for the quick reply and good luck today- hope the gas pains go away and you start feeling better -

Surgery 8/30- already started a low car diet to then transition into no carb diet 2 weeks pre op and full liquids 3 days pre op to remove solids from stomach...I'm in the Acworth area- anybody north metro area?

Mine is scheduled for August 30th...I'm 31, happily married and father of two beautiful little girls...I'm excited about this journey, nervous about the unknowns but hopeful about the future. My parents are sleevers as well and have had an amazing turn around so I'm blessed to have two success stories close to home and a tight support group. Wish everybody much success in the coming weeks as we get this show on the road! -
August 30th...I start my two week ride next Wednesday, although I start the low card diet today to get a feel for the next couple of days and get a head start on shrinking the liver...I'm a cash paying customer, so I want to make sure there are no complications (please God don't let there be any complications)

I'm not being put on a two week liquid diet but on a two week NO CARBS diet...same objective, different approach. Although, after reading a post that said the liquid diet is to decrease the solids in your stomach I might go liquid for 3 days pre-op.
