For those of you who were succesful, at which point did you feel full restriction? I just hit 7 and I'm FINALLY feeling something. Any tips?

Hi everybody! So happy to see some life here! I was banded on 10/31 and I've only lost abput 20 lb. since pre-op. A bit disheartened but was told that I need to hit the right fill amount first ... Had one fill of 3 cc and going for my second on Tuesday. CANNOT WAIT. Haven't felt much restriction at all.

Less than 24 hours left to my Lap-Band Surgery countdown! I'm super excited and nervous that I forgot something. What do you recommend I buy/ prepare? I'll list what I have below. Gas X strips, baby spoons, liquid Tylenol, a pill crusher, compression leggings, dry mouth spray, chicken broth, protein shakes, Diet Gatorade/ Vitamin Water Zero

I had the GB in the USA last year and while I lost about 20 lb, it was obviously not worth the money. I'm getting banded tomorrow.

I'll only be allowed liquids, and I'm being an outpatient. Currently about 213 lb.

I'm okay with the unknown because I'm so excited... But I want to be done already!!! We're looking for dates after October 15th and I'm annoyed.... Not on pre op yet. Go you!

I'm nervous but mostly excited!!!!! Annoyed too, because it looks like my date is being pushed off a bit.

Hey! I'm 28, from NJ, and a single mom. Recently found out that I'm pre-diabetic and may have thyroid issues. I have GERD and take meds for that and mild depression. Since I started on meds, I gained a lot of weight and simply can't lose it. I'm at 214 now, and my HW is 220. I know that most sleevers usually start out with higher weights. Any thoughts or advice? I have Oxford Insurance. Will I get approved? I did the gastric balloon with Dr. Ren at NYU last July, and it barely helped. I'm just so torn....
