Coke is bad, m'kay? carbonation is bad because it can cause air to get trapped and can cause a miriade of awful things to happen. the sugar in regular cokes, and the sodium in regular an diet cokes are REALLY bad for you. basically I live off of Water now...an on saturdays i pickle the hell out of my liver with straight scotch. but no more coke, or sprite (god i miss my sprite)

The Good: The clothes I used to not be able to fit into, and have been hiding in the back of my closet, are now too baggy. And I can wear my husband's t-shirts. The Bad: My hair is falling out The Ugly: As I lose weight my apron seems to be getting longer and longer.

I inevitably gain a pound the day before, a few the days of, and i lose like 3 pounds the day after. It is just weird.

I can tell you that if you decide to have another ban placed, you might want to consider the VG band. It is larger and can accomodate a larger stomach. I am so sorry this happened to you, and it sounds like the cookie cutter model of doing fills did not work for you. I don't understand that way of thinking either. IF you get a new band placed, try to get your fills done by flouro. this is suppose to help you and the doc determine the closest to perfect fill FOR YOU since they can see it as it is happening. My kids are younger than yours, but I too brought up the idea with no anxiety and as matter of factly as i could. I did not want them to worry about me, or think that something was wrong. I told them I was having a surgery to make me better an skinnier. The funniest part was picking them up and my aughter seeing me and gasping "Oh mommy, you are so pretty. It was a good operation!" LOL little liar. hehehe
