    I'm on Medicare and was just banded 3-4-08. Just got copy of hosp. bill and Medicare is covering cost of whole surgery. My portion of bill was just 19.00 and that was for the cost of the tv in my room for two days.

    Hello....I'm new in here and just had my band surgery on Mar 4th. I lost 10 lbs the 1st wk. and a half. I am presently @ a plateau and it hasn't budged. I don't have an appt. w/surgeon till Apr 9th for adjustment. I'm a little discouraged, but hanging in there though. I was given a name for a support buddy, but she hasn't responded, so I was given this website to go to by my doctor. Any comments or words of encouragement are welcome. :)
