    January bypass buddies??

Guys! I've been mostly on the Bariatric Pal Facebook page now! It's great! Current weight 203! Almost to ONEderland! HW 271 SW 257 Surgery Jan 8th: 232 Talk about slow and steady! 😳😂

    January bypass buddies??

Yes 😳 I had sleeve Jan 8. Surgery weight was 232.. CW 211. I stalled weeks 3-5! I did lose lots pre op. SW in Aug 2017 was 257, so I've lost 46 since starting the program. But ugh. I felt like my cals were too low 700ish so I upped to around 900 to 1k and the stall broke. But still.. I'm averaging what 1 to 2 lbs per week. I did that on WW! So why did I have major surgery?!? I am working so hard 😢

    January bypass buddies??

I feel like I am way behind where I should be. Lost lots before surgery but since I'm only losing like 1 to 2 lbs a week! I stalled for about 3 weeks too and I'm only 8 weeks out. I upped my cals from 6 or 700 to 900 to 1k and that ended the stall but still.. I could be losing 1 to 2 lbs a week on WW so why did I have major surgery 😳😢😒
  4. I'm very interested in this idea of what your group does! I was on 6 to 700 a day for awhile and stalled! Upped to around 1000 and it seems to be moving again, yay! I wonder if it's the thing where your body goes into starvation mode and slows down the metabolism? Now wondering if I should up cals to 1100 or 1200 .. I do get 10k to 13k ++ steps a day for work (phleb at Red Cross mobile drives) and have been doing HIIT 2 or 3x week plus some yoga. It's all so confusing [emoji44] [emoji44] [emoji44] VSG 1/8/18. 5. May I ask what tracking app that is? Trying to find an easy way to track! TIA [emoji74] VSG 1/8/18. HW 271 SW 257 CW 215

I feel like I am way behind where I should be 😢😢😢 5 wks out and only 16 lbs down. Lost lots (like 30lbs) on pre-op tho. But ugh!!! May have to unfollow social media as I am getting depressed. I can't figure out if I am not eating enough, not the right things, or what. I had surgery so that I would hopefully not have to obsess over every bite like Weight watchers etc and I am dismayed to find that I still need to document every little thing. I guess I figured that with only being able to eat teeny amounts it would just happen! So discouraged 😢😢😢 Sorry guys but just needed to vent!

I'm also stalled! [emoji17] I'm at five weeks out and been stalled for two. I've been pretty good at water and protein. Need to go back thru logs to check calories but I'm pretty sure I'm within all my parameters. So frustrating [emoji29][emoji29][emoji29] VSG 1/8/18. HW 271 SW 257 CW 218
  10. Wondering how you guys determine the starting weight? When you had surgery, or when you started the program with the surgeon? Thanks! VSG 1/8/18. HW 271 SW 257 CW 223

Someone please tell me that the gas issue gets better! I'm killing my hubby with the stench! [emoji37][emoji37][emoji37] Just over two weeks post op. VSG 1/8/18. HW 271 SW 257 CW 223
  13. Definitely! I had a few cries pre-op. Funny thing, I haven't felt that at all since surgery on Jan 8. I feel so good and am so excited that I don't have space in my head for that now. So yes.. Most likely it will pass! Good luck to you and stay strong. Keep us updated! [emoji76] VSG 1/8/18. HW 271 SW 257 CW 223
  14. Oddly enough I had some Burt's Bees ResQ Ointment that I use on everything and it really calmed the itch! I had the super glue not steri strips but did itch like a mutha! VSG 1/8/18. HW 271 SW 257 CW 223
