I have been busy with family and have not been on much and this will continue for the next couple of months with all the holidays. I just wanted to check in and say my weight this morning was 171.6 and it seems to hold steady here. Don't like its a few pounds out of the range I like but I tell myself its okay as long as I don't go up anymore through the Holidays ect.

Weighing in same as yesterday 168.4 . Yesterday menu Breakfast eggwich Lunch 4oz fish with lemon Dinner 3oz chicken and 1/3 cup rice with a spicy sauce Snack mint chocolate chip and cookie dough ice cream 1 cup and I did this twice 😨 also had an oz of almonds and 1oz of granola and seed mix. Then later in evening I ate a mixed green salad. Little piggy I was. My mom is visiting and loves her ice cream and I guess I do too ! I don't keep these kinda things in the house.

Weighing in at 168.4 this morning ! I am officially back in my zone and hope to keep going for a few more, but I wont be sweating it. Breakfast Jimmy Dean eggwich Lunch 2 oz beef roast, small potato, carrot, and onion Dinner 4 oz Crappie (fish) with lemon. Snack 1 oz almonds and 1 oz seeds nuts, and granola

How much I eat in a meal is a lot different to what I ate before surgery, A LOT different. What I am eating now and before surgery is about the same really, other then I rarely eat bread and I eat breakfast more regularly. I also try to eat more protein in meals and I am back to weighing my meat. My eyes are still bigger then my stomach, but I do use a salad plate

@Sheribear68 I had the same thing with the runny nose when I was full the first 6 months, but it doesn't do that anymore. I have to weigh out my portions because if I over eat I feel miserable. I also have an iron sleeve and never got sick. @FluffyChix I have heard the same thing about RNY and having a stoma as @ms.sss and you both pointed out. Its a good that you still measure all of your food. Do you have sensations of fullness with portion your portion size ?

Weighing in at 169.2 this morning. Yesterdays menu Breakfast 1 scrambled egg, 4 strips of bacon, and 1 package of grits Lunch mixed green salad with 1/2 avocado, 1 bacon, cheese, and 4 croutons. 2Tbl ranch Dinner 4oz porkchop no sides Snacks greek yogurt, 1oz almonds, 1 oz mixed nuts, seeds, and granola

I eat quickly also and am told by my boyfriend to slow down. I really need to slow down and take my time. Years of eating fast is really hard to break and after surgery I did really well, but now over 2 years out I have been reverting back to old habits and need to focus on slowing down.

@Sheribear68 I don't log either anymore. The most logging I do is here but I don't do it on an app. Once in awhile I will go on sparklepeople.com and add it up to check myself but that is about it. Have a great day 😊

@FluffyChix I weighed in at 170.2 this morning. I still have at least 2 lbs to go, but I thinking I need to go down lower since the holidays are coming. I am not too worried but I also am not taking it lightly because we all know that 2 can turn to 5 which can turn into 10 ect. Yesterday I ate light but have been having lots of problems with my lumbar and neck for the past week and am taking pain meds the last 2 days which have caused bathroom issues. I didn't take any today. Yesterdays food was Brunch 3oz roast, 3/4 small potato, and a carrot. Dinner 2oz salad greens with tomato, cheese, avocado, bacon bits and 3 croutons. Ranch dressing 2 Tbl Snack 1oz almonds and a cupcake😜

Todays menu was Breakfast Jimmy dean delight. To those of you that may not know what this is its egg on outside, sausage and cheese. No bread Lunch Salad greens, tomato, avocado with ranch dressing and a tuna packet Dinner 3oz roast, 1 small potato, 1 carrot with a few onions. Snack 1oz almonds and greek yogurt Could not eat all my dinner and finished the rest a few hours later.

Weighed in at 170.2 this morning. Not too concerned as I think I am retaining a little water. Todays food was Breakfast Kashi go lean protein and fiber cereal 1 cup with 1/2 cup milk Lunch 3 small chicken strips no breading with honey mustard sauce 2 tbl Dinner baked cubed steak, 1/3 mash potato, with gravy and 1/4 cup corn Snack 1oz almonds snack peanut butter cheese crackers 6 Ate half my dinner and am full so I will finish the rest in a few hrs if I feel hungry. Had 3 shots of southern comfort. Looking at all my food I doubt the scale will go down tomorrow. Going grocery shopping and will buy some lower calorie foods tomorrow

@FluffyChix maybe you did that girl a favor or at least tried. Coddling these people isn't going to do them any good. I now know why they don't want teenagers having this kind of surgery. Not to say that people who are older don't go and do the same things, but the difference is they can usually admit they goofed and take responsibility for their actions. Don't beat yourself up on date night and a few no no s here and there. You have a window you stick with also. Its not like you don't hold yourself accountable and fix it quickly.

Well ladies lots of stuff going on and I missed a few days logging. 169.8 was my weigh in this morning and I am still 1 pound over my window of 167 to 168. I am not sweating it I just need to get on the ball. The holidays are coming and so is my first cruise in Jan ! YIKES Breakfast 3/4 slice of Caseys breakfast pizza and 2 bites of biscuit and gravy Lunch 1/2 cup of spaghetti and meat sauce Dinner 3oz tri tip with green beans Snack braum frozen yogurt and handful m&m I know I need to start pulling away from all the carbs, so this morning I started out with an egg delight and it wasn't to bad

Weighed in at 169.6 this morning. Yesterday food was Breakfast 1 egg scrambled with cheese and 1 turkey sausage Patty Lunch 3oz taco meat, 5 chips, cheese, and sour cream. Dinner 4oz tilapia and small spring mix salad with cheese and ranch( didn't finish salad) Snack 1oz roasted almonds and a few grapes.

I get really hot and sweats but it doesn't do it every time, its weird. I am guessing it is because its the first thing to hit my stomach in the morning and I use vanilla creamer.

Sleevers don't dump like bypass. At least that is what we were told in the beginning of the journey. I do sometimes on coffee in the morning but that is about it. As far as volume I was told and do believe sleevers hold less food because we still have the pyloric valve and bypassers the stoma which doesn't close. Is this not true ? I can eat a normal sized protein portion 3 to 4 oz depending on what it is, but only a few bites of anything else and if I do make a normal sized plate with the other stuff I have to wait a few hours to finish a meal. I am thankful for the restriction I have at 27 months out. My problem was snacking last weekend with family. Not much restriction when I eat foods I should not be eating.

170.2 this morning. I will be back in my window sometime this week. Breakfast 8oz premier protein shake Lunch 4oz cheeseburger, 1/2 bun, 2 Tbl baked beans, 4 chips Dinner 2oz pork tenderloin with mushroom and onion, 1/3 cup mashed potato Snack was a no no. I have a weakness for cupcakes and had 1 left from the cupcake shop down the street. Sigh

So ms.sss I see you quit smoking and wondering if you had to quit before surgery? If so when did you start back up? I have went back and forth with smoking for almost 2 years now.

Well I haven't logged in here since Thursday, I had family come on Friday and still here and my weight has gone up past my cut off. 171.6 this morning sigh. Too much food and too much junk !! Back on the wagon today.

9 am Breakfast 1 scrambled egg and 2 oz ham 12 30 Lunch doritios taco supreme and a 1/2 5 30 Dinner 3 oz sirloin steak 1/2 baked potato with butter and sour cream 1/4 cup peas 1/2 cheese stick I ate half my dinner and will finish the rest tonight if I feel hungry. I did have a few pieces of snack candy between lunch and dinner. Trick or treaters have been coming through so it will be gone tonight !! YAY

I do usually make my own but I ended up running to taco bell and having a Cheese doritos locos taco supreme and 1/2. 285 calories total.

Cheeseburgh, I now want a taco for lunch, lol. The only time I get in a rut with a particular food is when I have made too much and have leftovers for days. I like pretty much everything and I don't have issues with any foods and never did after surgery.

167.6 this morning. I have been eating Halloween candy. Making sure to get rid of all of it to. 10/30 food Breakfast Scrambled egg and 4 oz of sirloin. I ended up getting full and finishing it at lunch Lunch Finished breakfast and ate 1/2 cupcake from Boyfriends birthday Dinner Salad greens with ranch dressing and 3 oz of ham. Snacked on halloween candy
