Hey I’m doing pretty well. I’ve been five laps through the hallways seven laps equals a mile maybe I’ll get it tonight LOLI’ve been spared nausea but I’ve been getting a little Zofran that may be the reason. Not too sore. My kingdom for a sip of water.

Thanks, and just did two laps through the halls. No burping or tooting yet, but tummy Los rumbling some :-) Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

To tell or not to tell
Apple203 replied to beccaconaty87's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I was able to bypass telling my supervisor by taking my FMLA package directly to HR -- she simply sent down an email that my FMLA had been approved without any details. To date, I've told 2 good friends at work, my SIL, my parents and my brother. Oh, and my immediate family. -
You put an "@" plus user name, like @Stevie the Sleevey

Dang, is (s)he still sleeping? How?? Also, I'm a little amazed that I lost 12# pre-op and I did not have to do protein shakes, just protein+veges+3 fruits day.

Me, too!!! So who else is up for surgery today?
-
Not surprised to see you up, too! :-) Are you ready?

Its 3:00 am and I am up and ready to roll! And a wee bit thirsty, which happens with CPAP. Imagine it will be worse later . Not as nervous as last night. Thanks for letting me vent :-)

5:30 AM, baby, that's when I report for surgery -- woohoo! I am a jumble of nerves, excitement, and impatience, because mostly, I just want this done so I can start the next phase of my life.

12 Days Post-Op Gastric Sleeve and Totally Regretting it
Apple203 replied to Arabian78's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm very happy for you! Must be a huge relief. -
Best wishes for a safe surgery!
-
Glad to read you are OK! This surgery with T1 diabetes must really be a challenge!
-
Yep, me too -- same worries! I guess we just to have a little faith that things will work out for us. :-)

I was quite worried about the psych evaluation, too. Turned out, it ended up being a very relaxing talk with the psychologist. In fact, I'll see him again if I feel like I need it down the road as I adjust to this new lifestyle -- I liked him that much. I have a history of depression and anxiety, and I was quite open with him about it. So I think you should just be open and honest and you will be fine -- nobody expects you to be perfect.

Have a safe surgery, let us know how it went on the other side! -
Good, and keep in mind that there is a good chance we will be off the CPAP machine once we lose weight.
-
Good luck!!
-
I believe 15# in the first month is pretty typical -- good job!! And next time, bring your own dinner :-)
-
Fantastic news! Good on you for feeling so good and doing an outstanding job with the pre-op diet!!
-
Safe surgery, madlily. You sound pretty calm!
