Any August 2017 Sleevers?

incase this helps anyone.... I had my sleeve done this week on Tuesday 1st Aug. I got out of hospital late afternoon on Wednesday and travelled by car 4 hours home. Wednesday was hell - I was in a lot of pain and struggling to drink. Thursday, totally different - no pain killers. Had a sleep late morning for a couple of hours and then did 4 hours office work on the laptop. Drinking was managable Friday / Today - I got a lift in to work at 10.30am and a lift home again at 4.30pm. I'll start driving again on Monday. Drinking is no problem and no pain killers. I feel pretty much normal. -

Ive Just had mine done on Tuesday this week. One night in hospital and out on Wednesday. I really worried about the travel home - 4 hours by car. It was uncomfortable and I really didnt feel well. Just one day later, today, and I'm totally different. No pain meds at all today and the wind has also gone (it was hell yesterday) If you can somehow book another night locally or stay two nights in hospital, I think you'll travel home just fine -

I'm guessing you should be ok. I had my sleeve done on Tuesday. Stayed in hospital Tuesday night. They almost didnt let me out Wednesday as I was having severe pains (wind mainly I think) - but I travelled 4 hours home in the car yesterday (Wednesday) Today, Ive got no pain. Not taken any pain killers and I'm going to go into work for a few hours tomorrow. If you have a trolley bag, I'd think at 4 days, you'll manage flying. I've been told to wear compression socks for two weeks anyway and Ive probably done 6 hours work today on the laptop sat down at the kitchen table -
panicking about post-op side effects...

Thursday as in today ? Good Luck... I'm in the uk and it's almost 10pm here. If it's any help, I had the sleeve done on Tuesday this week. They let me out last night. The 4 hours travelling home felt like it was killing me... Today however is another day. Ive managed to drink over a litre fairly easily. I do not feel sick and have had no pain killers. I've even sat and worked on the laptop for several hours. As I only work down the road, a colleague is picking me up so I can go in for a few hours tomorrow (I'm a workaholic) and I'll come home when Im tired. Should be driving again by Monday. The only thing I'm struggling with is those horrid lanzopramol tablets (or whatever they're called) -
