Hi Christine, I had my sleeve 6/21/17. Turned 63 on 7/8. Can be a buddy but not a mentor.

My sleeve was 6/21. I also struggle with the protein shakes and vitamins tasting chalky. My Nutritionist wants me to do 75 gm/day protein. I think that is excessive, lucky if I get half of that. It really is trial and error when it comes to foods. Also having daily headaches, struggle to get all the water in now, fills up too fast.

I'm 6 wks post op and have lost 35 lbs. Had no energy for the 1st few weeks but starting to pick up. I have a problem with the vitamins, everything tastes chalky and gross. Any suggestions for a decent multivitamin? Calcium Citrate? I should be advanced to regular diet in a week or so. I have hit 2 plateaus already, is this normal?

I buy Nexum which is over the counter now. Works like a charm.
