Serious about MEXICO but many questions and concerns
AmylouRouxEnY replied to Kristi Jacobs's topic in Mexico & Self-Pay Weight Loss Surgery
I'm scheduled for bypass on Sept. 12th at Angele's hospital by Dr. Juan Lopez-Corvalla. I'm nervous and excited at the same time, lol! I had originally decided on Dr. Ortiz at OCC but found out that he didn't do RNY bypass anymore. So when I started looking for another surgeon I found Dr. Lopez. He's also a professor at a college in Baja and Dr. Ortiz was one of his students, lol! -
Thanks Cherbear416, that would be awesome! I haven't really started looking local yet. I live out in the country about 45 miles to the nearest "city" so I was hoping to get some online support as well. Plus I think it'll keep me in line and accountable when I'm traveling, lol. Good luck with your surgery I bet you're really getting excited now! I can't wait to hear all about your trip!

Hi everyone! I'm just joining the club, I have a surgery date of Sept. 12 in Mexico with Dr. Juan Antonio Lopez Corvala and I'm soooo excited to finally be taking control of my life! Yet, I'm also nervous about not having a local follow up community to help me along so I'm hoping to find some like-minded buddies to take this journey with! Good Luck to you all!!!

From the album: The old me
I had been dieting and working out diligently for 4 months to get ready for the Color Run. I was doing the T25 workout 4 to 5 days a week but my body just looked the same. I definitely FELT better ( finished the race in 53 minutes, woohoo ), but when I got home and saw the pictures that were taken it depressed me. "How can I STILL look so FAT?" It kinda stole the wind from my sail. I've just gone down hill from there. -
