  1. Oh great idea! Thanks for sharing!! And how did you feel? Did you "feel" like you reached goal in that span of time where you were 120.5-127? Of course, at 114, you should/could cross out the 127 and go back to 120.

Ok, but you are recovering from a very serious surgery and are not taking care of nutrient needs right now. So at some point, you are gonna go to war with your body and you don't want to do that hon. The walking and build up will be there. But dial it back while you recover. Walk. Sure. Every day. Every hour! I literally started by walking 5 minutes every hour or two after surgery. Even though I was walking before surgery and had built up to 30 minute walks. But until your doc clears you for full on marathon level endurance activity, I'd dial back a bit. You don't have to take my advice. I'm just a shmo on the internet without formal training. ((hugs)) And you can still play here even if you do only walk 5 minutes per hour (I think you can do better than that of course...but why not ask your doc? He may give you the green light.)

Dang! Girl! Congrats!! So look, just pace yourself right? It's the long haul marathon that counts and not how you "start". It's just me, but this amount of activity on only 12 days post surgery and the tiny amounts you are eating are not a sustainable mix for you...be gentle!

Still in love with chia pudding! Today it's strawberry banana chia pudding made with Greek yogurt (plain) and kefir (plain). I swear this tastes better than any of those premade yogurts with fake sweeteners out there! You don't taste the "fake" sugar in this! It's just delish!

WTG! So you do the loop once then have 2+ more miles of movement the rest of the day? Or are you going 1.5 times around the track? Sounds beautiful!

Oh wow!!! What a darling outfit! You look amazing and so so fit and tiny! Love your pants and sandals!!! Need them too!
  14. So question for all y'all! Do you think it's cheating then, to adjust my Goal #3 to be 135lbs in my signature line? So that I can look at it and see that "I crossed the finish line"? Or do you think my mind will still automatically go to the place of, "Yeah, but I didn't touch the 130line on Goal #3 and just "gamed" it"?
  15. @MIZ60 I'm thinking of your response and pondering--not ignoring! ((hugs))

11.5mi + 3.8mi = 15.3mi not including today (Sat) You guys are crushing it!!! How do you get over 5mi in per day?!!! I'm not worthy!
  19. IKR? I think both you and I are part of that sub-set that needs a finite carrot to work toward. Obsessed much? LOL! I think this sounds totally reasonable!!! That's kinda why I set Goal 1, 2 and now 3. Cuz I really didn't know where I wanted to end up or even "could" end up. And I knew I had to "ring the bell" on at least 2 of the Goals in order to have wl closure and enter maintenance without feeling a sense of letting myself down and quitting. I'm glad you got to work with a new NP and he gave you some things to think about! 169lbs at your time frame is AWESOME sauce! I've no doubts you are gonna reach your healthy goals!!!

  23. Your menu looks so yummy!!! Doncha love MOM!!! She cares! Congrats on your RBD! ha! So maybe...you were eating more carbs/cals/energy on vacay and so you had more energy to get you over the 4K hump? Maybe you could try a pre-run protein drink? And see if that keeps you from bonking?

TY! (on the lymphedema--not resolved, just clever photo angles. It IS much improved, but I still have to wear my compression sleeve and elevate it every day for as many hours as possible. The weight loss has helped a LOT with it!) I'm wearing this outfit now...I slept in it. I might shower in it.

    Where are my water guzzlers?

It's a great trade!!! I'll take having my life back over eating rich fulfilling meals any day. But saying that, my meals are DANG tasty and satisfying, just very light and nutrient dense.
