Food Before and After Photos

You gotta! World Market has tons of em right now. You're gonna go coo-coo for them. Use my recipe or the link in my post here. It tastes just like bread and isn't eggy since there is no yolk in it. I never use yolks in my low carb bread analogues cuz it makes them taste burned and eggy. Yuck. I do use them in Rev Rolls, but protect how brown they get. -

Make a chaffle. So. DANG. Good! With avocado toast or with peanut butter smeared on it. So filling too! That looks beautiful!!! Makes me want it for lunch! -
Me2! It makes me happy happy to know I have a plan for today.

Funny enough. I'm sure people think I spend hours on logging. But I store each "recipe" as a meal in my MFP. And since I'm a creature of habit and tend to repeat the same thing often, I just pop into Meals and click on the meal and the portion size. Cuz I put how many servings per recipe. So I only ate 1/2 of my soup yesterday and I put in .5 of the meal and boom. Done! Same thing with my dinner from our little Italian place. I can log in about 5 minutes or less per day.

I added whatever spices or sauces. This one was asian so I did: 5 spice powder ginger powder garlic powder Walden Farms Asian Dressing (1tbsp) 1/2 tsp Sriracha Pepper 1/8tsp sesame oil egg whites ***** the other day I did mexican so I did: 1 tbsp salsa (your choice) cumin coriander garlic powder pepper ***** I also did italian 1 tbsp marinara basil oregano garlic And then either poach em or nuke em in 20second intervals until done. It takes me about 3 intervals in the micro and about 7-9 minutes on the stove top with a lid and barely simmering water. -
Yesterday was a big ol' food day for me. I was hungry all day. And so I ate. Oddly, I was also exhausted and in a crummy mood. I didn't even get up and walk yesterday cuz my mood was so bad and I was so tired. So I took a day off. Today I pay the piper cuz I'm up to 133.4lbs (pre-poopy weight). I am working on day 2 poopless, so I do think I can account for it beyond just having a ton of food in my body from yesterday. Fri, Nov. 15 Maintenance : 5'4" / 19mo PO Sleeve / 133.4 lbs B1-Protein Lattes (pumpkin pie + banana PP 4oz) B2-Open faced Chaffle McMuffin (egg + eggwhite + uncured hard salami + 2% deli deluxe cheese + Psylli Chaffle) L-1/2 Rec Green Soup (broccoli + spin + cabbage + asian stuff + broth + egg puff + shrimp) AS-Frigo Lite Cheesestick + uncured hard salami +almonds + baby carrots D-Caprese stack + broccoli & garlic + spinach & garlic + grilled chicken + 2 glasses cabernet + 1 espresso with heavy cream BS-almonds + 1 square Lindt 90% Dark Chocolate Daily Totals: 1509cals; 91g protein; 85g fat; 49g carbs; 16g fiber; 33g net carbs

Call your doc. I'm betting it's the Celebrex doing it. Maybe you need carafate again?

You look FABULOUS! Congrats to you!! Good job! -
Congrats @RussT you look amazing!!!!

I'm sorry to hear this. Please be sure to tell the docs and nurses about how much fresh fruit juice you have been having each day. Pineapple and citrus are significantly acidic and could have caused an anastomotic ulcer/perferation of the suture line, etc... Hope they get you figured out quickly.

IKR! It REALLY reminds me of the texture of soft tofu. Lovely and velvety/creamy with the same blank palette taste of tofu. I am gonna have to try hot/sour soup with it. Actually this soup kinda reminds me of h/s soup with different veggies. So dang good. I could eat the egg cups and chaffles every meal and every day. LOL. They almost melt in your mouth-not rubbery or hard at all. I poached it for like 7 minutes? -
Agree on the paper bag waist. I too have a pair of pants that writes tickets my waist can't cash. So I never wear them out.

Mine was being recliner chair bound, not being able to stand longer than 5 minutes, hard to wipe myself, hard to shower, asthma out the wazzoo, high bp, high heart rate, breast cancer remission, t2d, tons of meds, tons of chronic pain, tons of cortisone shots to the hips and back, not sleeping longer than 1 hour at a time, lymphedema in my left arm moving to stage III, on pain meds dailly, drinking daily to help dull the pain, and a staph infection in my foot that caused me to realize I needed the surgery my oncologist had been trying to get me to do for the two years previous to the foot infection. I would go weeks without going out of the house.

Nah. That's a call to the doc. Are they tarry? Sticky? Hard to clean up? You are about the time where a lot of us realize although the trains appear to be moving, we really have a giant back up of poo. And it can get hard and can cause some bleeding. Or it could be stored poo from the surgery that still has some blood from the procedure. But I would say if you've been having them for 16 days, this is cause for real concern. Are you having any pain?

Hahaha. yes. Don't listen. You need the surgery.

Ok, sorry to clog up the feed so much lately! I just love those little egg poachers! I've been making this green soup for a long time and I only just started making "tofu" out of egg whites (can't have tofu). And if you have trouble with eggs, you should totally try this method. You season them how you wish: yesterday was mexican with salsa, today is asian with five spice, garlic, ginger, sriracha, sesame oil. Then poach or nuke em in a bowl (20 second intervals in the micro until just done--takes 2-4 sessions). Then cube them and drop them in your soup. Tender, delicious. This made 2 cups (2 servings) of fabulous and comforting soup and took all of about 5 minutes to throw together and about 10 minutes to cook. #dangdelicious! Here's the ingredient list. Each time it's different depending on which veg is lurking in the freezer. 2 servings totals: 255 cals; 32g protein; 6g fat; 16g carbs; 8g fiber; 8g net carbs per serving: 178cals; 16g protein; 3g fat; 8g carbs; 4g fiber; 4g net carbs. Score!!! -
@GreenTealael Sorry, this quote above led me to believe you were asking me specifically. Thanks!

It was yummy! And I'm noticing with the chaffle open faced sandwiches, I actually feel "full". I think cuz of the psyllium. -

No afters but here's today's brekky offering. I used my new egg poacher to make a poached egg + eggwhite and uncured BH salami slices. And used the air fryer to rewarm my chaffle and also to melt the 1/2 slice of 2% kraft deli deluxe with 3 slices of BH uncured salami. More cals but sooooo good in a totally different way. I actually think I prefer the egg puff better! I can't wait to get lox at the store this weekend and also can't wait to get canadian bacon or more Hillshire Farms ham! Here's the meal: 216 cals; 20g protein; 12g fat; 6g carbs; 1g fiber; 5g net carbs. -
Yes! Absolutely! Ok, so we're about the same volume then. I don't have too many "small pouch" days. But I do have items that I can eat less of for the signal of "meh that's enough". Cottage cheese is one of them.

Congrats @Tracyringo look at you! You're a rockstar! Way to get back inside the window!!! @Meryline So happy to see you here! And happy to know at 2 years you are around the same capacity as me by gram weight. But I eat way more than 2/3cup of food (150ml) at a time. My volume is around 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups with more veggies.
