Is it too much to ask for one of you to post a recent (Oct-Nov '17) rant and rave?

Sorry you're having a tough time! Hang in there and hopefully a vet will be in to help you soon! -
Hahahaha! Well at least that had to be more fun that discussing how to use the epilady (a tool totally invented by a sadist) on our bikini lines!

Details, mon frer, details please! (Brands, dosages, where to buy the cheapest) -
@Apple203 Ha! You take that weak-a*s hormonal trash talk back to the Women's Room, the Cradle of Gynocracy, where it belongs! And while we are on this one...how come our sex can't come up with anything more imaginative to talk about in our Girls Only Clubhouse except PCOS, periods, and hormones? Gah! I want to take an icepick to my eyes!!!! Not for nothin do I want to hang out in there! (How's that for a rant?) Since the time we were little, the boys always had more fun in their club house. Am I right?

Never thought I'd click "Like" on someone having scoliosis! ((hugs))

ROFLMAO about the train, the shoes, or being nekkidy! LOL! So, don't spaz over the psych eval. It was sooooo easy peasy...mainly just a test with 400 questions. Then you sit and chat for about 30-45 minutes. He'll talk about why you want the surgery, how you think it will help. He's trying to see if you're a psychopath, have hidden personality disorders, if you are withit and right with the world...lol. If you have depression, eating disorders, alcohol or drug probs, that sort of thing, I think it would be trickier and worth a little anxiety. But otherwise, you'll do great! ((hugs)) and so excited for you!

@karen_marie Oh mah gosh! It's so close you can feel it! Are you just ready to squeal with excitement? And you are too sweet to offer that to hubs! Ha! I'd be like, "b***h please! Shut your mouth and get in there and make my protein drink!" (That would be the pre-op liquid b***h talking to him, not me...) hehe @fruitandveggies IKR? No, I'd sincerely appreciate a whole slew of R/R, vets, singles, Mars/Venus colliding, dude posts about sex and penises and how they really secretly love dressing now that they're skinny, lounge and other sundry posts! Can you tell I'm ready for my doc appointment and am sitting her looking for instant entertainment? *snort*

What to take to hospital.
FluffyChix replied to PaulaUSN's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm planning: Toothebrush Lip Balm Phone Charger (xlong) Yoda Robe Disposable Slippers (I always do this, cuz then I can slip them on and walk, and dispose of them in the hospital waste can. That way I don't bring home shoes that are contaminated with creepy things like C-diff, MRSA, and lions/tigers/bears--oh my!) Not even bringing undies--commando all the way; and will wear the same things home I wore to the hospital. Good times! -
Wahooooo! I Finally Have a Surgery Type
FluffyChix posted a topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm having the RNY. Gosh, I've spent the last 3 months doing the testing and waiting for opinions to come in about whether or not I'm a candidate for any surgery at all. Now the real fun begins--the waiting and the countdown. Insurance is now submitted. *gulp* (Sorry, this post began as a November Surgery post but I just found the pre-existing thread! Derp! My bad!) -

@Berry78 TY sweetie! It's so fun, I feel like I found a home. It's like I want to shout, "Obesity! Set my people free!" *snort* (Of course, I'm really shouting at my tummy to STFU and quit whining about being hungry. I'm fasting until after my doc appointment in case he wants labs.) -

Under 40 BMI RNY Discussuins
FluffyChix replied to katemac127's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I'm 53 and am 6+ years out from breast cancer. I'm right at 40BMI at my present weight (232lbs). The doc says I will drop down closer to 35BMI as surgery and the liquid diet become reality. What we're not told is that the treatment (chemo and the prednisone that goes with it) can make us gain 20lbs. Then the hormone therapy which many of us can take for 10 years, blocks either hormone receptors or conversion of androgens to estrogen/progesterone and that means we may/usually gain another 20-40lbs. Oy! But, we truly are the lucky ones as survivors! So many of my friends are now gone (who were treated at the same time as me). Looking forward to joining you on the losers' bench! -

Maybe try the sample pack from Celebrate vitamins? I ordered mine and am looking forward to trying the drink mix that tastes like SF Tang! I'd also make sure I took it after eating my biggest meals with dense protein up front. -

Can you try taking smaller dosages, more frequently?
