LOL! Excellent! So you're saying you re-use your cups and separate them into coffee and tea cups? I thought it was some new travel cup by Starbucks, made out of different material!!! bahahahaha! -
LOL! I'd help ya get back up girlfriend, but then we'd have to log about it and wonder how many cals we expended in the back flip and the isometric exercise of pulling you up off your skinny asprin bottle!

okserrynotserry! I feel like whatever it takes to keep you in the show is fine by me and we all have different needs. You're just probably more evolved than my little obsessive self. LOL ROFL!

GALS who started their journey over 300 lb+<br /> +
FluffyChix replied to Frustr8's topic in The Gals' Room
I think I qualify for this group. My highest weight was 325lbs and that was 18 years ago. My toughest weight loss journey began in 2000 and I was able to see-saw between 260 and 280lbs for quite a few years by low carbing. But no matter how much I adjusted my low carb life I just wasn't able to lose below the 260lb deck. I'm not even sure what that BMI would be? I only know I was miserable. And I finally surrendered a couple of years ago and threw out all of my skinny (size 14s) that I'd kept from high school on--just in case I "could" lose the weight. I really felt hopeless and like I would be doomed to living in a 260 or bigger body for the rest of my life. And my oncologist was gently, insistently, encouraging me to lose weight, lose weight, lose weight, have WLS. And I just kept getting mad at him, feeling embarrassed and frustrated, defeated, humiliated and like I was a ginormous epic fail. The day I went to see my PCP with a staff infection in my foot, I weighed 287lbs. My BMI was around 49/50. I felt like I was dying and I wouldn't live much longer. I basically lived in my recliner chair and couldn't tolerate much walking or standing. I limited my showers cuz it was just so difficult getting in and out of the tub. I truly don't know how Mr. F. could stand me. I could barely stand myself. There was zero self-love left at that point. I never have fully believed I could lose the weight. I never thought I would ever be under 200lbs again, nor believed I would ever see my old high school weight (150s). But here I sit--about 18 months-ish later at 162lbs. I'm only 12 pounds from my first goal. And I still nail-bite my food and over-plan every day. I'm still my own worst critic and have a raging case of body dysmorphia for which I am seeking help. I can empirically see how much weight I've lost, but I am unable to see myself as others see me. To me, I'm still fat, still so imperfect. And feel like I have a long way to go to reach my true goal of being in the normal weight category with a normal BMI. That's anything south of 145lbs for me--but honestly it feels as far away an unattainable as it did when I weighed 287lbs or 325lbs. But somehow, this surgery, the attention to eating healthy, the exercise, the support community has helped me take baby steps down to where I am today. I've lost 124lbs. That amazes me. I just have to pray every day I can maintain my losses and be on guard against complacency that causes me to slide back into piss-poor habits and self-indulgent behaviors. You guys are all a great group of women! And I look forward to watching your journeys. So happy for Frustr8 to finally get the surgery she's worked so hard for!!! Congrats! You will be a rockstar! -
More love fest ahead! I wish I could triple like this!!! You were a cutey patootie then AND now! Beautiful girl. Congrats!!!

I play refrigerator roulette all the time. If it doesn't smell, isn't slimey, and doesn't taste "off" it goes in mah belleh regardless of expiration dates. You would not believe how long Fairlife FF milk lasts beyond the exp. date. It's pretty frightening to think about and it's one of the things that make you go, "Hmmmmm..." LOL I love all of the above. -

Haha and the Chicken Saltimbocca was totally a compromise cuz what I REALLY wanted was linguini with clams! But I haven't had pasta in soooo very long and I was terrified it would make me sick from too many carbs at one time. Plus pack 4lbs of water on my thighs. LOL And yes, the bargaining. Oh the bargaining. At least I didn't have the wine that I wanted and went for iced tea like a good girl. But it was very difficult. -

Ok, sigh. so last night didn't go exactly as planned. LOL. Maybe I should post my days once their finished like the day after? Cuz I'm making a lot of on-the-fly modifications to the basic plan. I think I'll start doing that! So I still had a down-ish day yesterday. I wasn't gonna eat but by the time we did eat at 8pm, I was ready, willing, and able. I "should" have done the grilled chicken and Greek salad. But noooooooooo. I ended up getting Chicken Saltimbocca with veggies and ate a stack of Caprese salad. Consequently, I'm up 1.4ish pounds today but meh...that's typical for me anytime I eat out or have salty stuff. Today is another back-to-back down day (DD=500 cals) so I can have our true date night tomorrow. Don't know what we are gonna do yet. I hope to talk him into bowling or put put golf--something goofy. But depends on how hot it is, or if I can convince him to put his feet in rental shoes. I'm not awake enough to plan my menu. That will have to come later. I'm just concentrating on my lovely Miralax with a side of Colace black coffee at the moment! So here was yesterday's DD and the few pics I have. I always forget to snap a pic when at restaurants. I don't usually have my phone out. I will try to take a pic of the leftovers when I make them--which will be prolly be tomorrow since I have salmon lurking in the fridge threatening to go bad. And when good salmon goes bad...ain't nobody survivin the horror! (click to enlarge) B2-Egg puff (sans cheese) (ew, mushrooms, super greens trio, frozen seasoning blend, turkey saus crumbles, WF balsamic dressing, fresh basil) L-green soup with shrimp (low sodium chicken broth, frozen collards, frozen seasoning blend, sontava sauce, boiled shrimpies) D-Caprese salad, chicken saltimbocca, sauteed broccoli and zucchini with grated parmesan (will have to make another pic later if I have time/energy). -

Ok! So I see you being MUCH smaller than me and adorable--nah--beautiful!!! I will try to take a pic of me in the only skirt I have now. Also a thrift store find. Liz Claiborne $1 no sh*t. And the same shirt from the other pic cuz they go together. hahaha And you will see how much smaller you look!! BTW I heart the color of your room. It's so happy and full of light!!! BTW? Mr. F. called and said he didn't want leftovers and that he's had a hard day and wants to go to our cheap Italian place for dins. So he told me I have 45 minutes to get the fork out of my PJs (um, yes, still in pjs from this morning--although did wash face and brush teeth). I'm either going to have my $2.50 chickie boob side with a small Grk Salad for $3.50 (I will bring my own WF dressing) OR I will have the $2.50 chickie and the $2.99 spinach with garlic or broccoli. I do sooo love eating cheap! And buying clothes cheap!!! Kinda interesting how 2.5hours ago, the thought of making another meal was anathema to me. And now I'm like, "Whah? I don't have to cook? Meh...I could eat!" *sigh* (and I wonder how I got to be 325lbs... ) -

Isn't that just so weird how we see ourselves??!! ((hugs)) I don't think you are cray. I think you are actively losing fat. And as someone here pointed out today (can't remember where), it IS possible to be gaining lean body weigh while losing fat so that the scale essentially stays the same. And the space occupied by 1lb of muscle is different than the space occupied by 1lb of fat. And IF is notorious for being muscle sparing while truly going for the fat first. -

And double btw, your measurments are LOVELY! And you are beautiful Green Tealael! It's so weird how I am 100% authentic and sincere about my comments to you. You are so beautiful and have a darling figure in all the pics I've seen of you. You would fit very easily in these jeans! And you are a little smaller than me, but when I look at you--you look MUCH like MASSIVELY smaller than me. And I can't really give myself that same affirmation and love cuz I only see myself through critical eyes, I'm waiting to get to see a therapist, btw. LOL. Apparently, I have "issues." hehe! -

Ok ladies, just cuz I'm trying to get in touch with my inner-selfie-ho, LOL, I have to confess to having Size10 envy from Silly's size 10 jeans. So I went and tried on my size 10 Gap skinny jeans and then remembered my sissy had given me her old size 8P brown jeans as an inspiration to "grow down to"! And here are the photos! LOL. I should add, I actually wore the Gap jeans last night. And this morning--they were so tight, I have bruises on the front of my kneecaps where they bound me in. Who need spanx with this guys! And I might add...no way would I have gotten these past my thighs if it weren't for the impressive and enormous amounts of lycra in the fabrics!!! ROFLMAO! I found the Old Navy Tshirt for $1, and think the Gap jeans were either $1 on sale, or they were like $3 or something with senior discount at the thrift store. Gap Jeans Brown jeans (were so tight I might add that you can see my muffin top of loose jiggly puff skin at my waste!) ROFL! Oh I might add, in the depths of my deep body dysmorphia and self-hatred-ish, I find it almost unbearable to look at these photos. Cuz I CAN see how far I've come, but rather than being proud of that, all I can think when looking at these is, "DG look at big my thighs are! And why don't I look like I'm a size 10 or 8? When my sis had the brown jeans on, she looked so tiny!!! She's about 1 1/2inches shorter than me and so petite. I still feel like Godzirra. UGH! -
