Hi welcome! Post often!! -
Wait! I'm so confused!!! I thought in addition to this post, saying "Sayonara!" to us losers who continue to post it forward trying to help people and trying to stay connected to support here at BP. I thought you had some "fabulous" life to go lead without BP draggin' ya down? I thought like Arnold you were "Hasta la vista, baby!" So now it's more like you're Sean Connery who said "Never say never?" What changed? Why are you back here with us losers? Signed Sincerely, Loser at BP p.s. Shout out to all the vets who stay and give their time freely to offer mentorship and knowledge!!!!

Forbes: Why high protein diets may be linked to Cancer
FluffyChix replied to Creekimp13's topic in Rants & Raves
LOL, I don't "actively" do anything for the site. It simply exists from its creation date. And I no longer post to the blog. But absolutely, do I believe in the ketogenic lifestyle and am very happy it helps people? Oh yes! I live it, just now days, it is adjusted for my RNY surgery and lifestyle. And I seem to remember gifting you copies (FREE) I might add, of each of my cook books. God, maybe you should read some of them, cuz maybe then you wouldn't still look so sick and old--and shall I call it? Fluffy. You still look VERY fluffy, friend. And here you go again blaming me for the second time of giving myself cancer. What kind of woman are you? What kind of woman is so ruthless that you blame another woman for her breast cancer? LOL. Jesus Mary and Joseph. I already explained the genesis of my hormone positive fat mediated breast cancer. Thanks. And that came from my oncologist, not some woman masquerading as a medically educated person trying to pound down bad science and confuse all of the new bariatric patients--advising against eating to their team's plans, and one who is totally without morals that she would dare to accuse another woman of giving themselves breast cancer. You are a nasty, nasty, nasty woman. And yes, that is personal. I won't take it any further and will leave it for everyone to see--that you accuse people of giving themselves metastatic diseases and other horrible diseases such as kidney disease. -

Well at least I'm not necro-posting. I hate when that happens! And hey! Speaking of thanks! LOL. Thanks for plugging my keto blog! (Not much to see there folks--especially since I quit updating and keeping it active a few years ago due to terrible lymphedema leftover from cancer surgery and lymph node removal.)--which is probably not that helpful to most of you since it's based on eating substantially more cals in a day than most of us can manage now, and for most of us, the recipes have too high of a fat content (especially us bypassers). Maybe one day when I'm healthy and fit (hey, I can dream!), I will either continue the blog with an update about my WLS journey and begin a new section devoted to bariatric low carb eating--which for me is protein adequate, "lower-er" fat aka moderate fat, and low carb. But for the foreseeable future, I do not envision that happening any time soon. Although, the blog does still help a lot of people -- mostly those ketoneers who do not have altered gut anatomy and have to balance the challenge of eating a very low calorie diet while trying to satisfy their daily protein needs for a healthy life like we do here at BP. -

Good lord! That's a hellah plate!!! Was it good? Love that you can get roasted brussels on their salad bar! -
I never thought I would need to learn ruler increments. Ugh...shop class...go figure. Right? Jokes on me. I am a graphic designer and I have to use both ruler measurements in inches, picas/points, AND metric. Oy...

Dang had a slippery moment around 3pm! Came home and was making "mah boy" a snack for a late lunch--he wussed and decided he didn't want to pull a 20/4 today, and as I was making his plate of smoked turkey, BHs lacy swiss and blackberries, I was having a moment. I got SOOOO hungry I wanted to just cave and say eff it! But I powered down a bottle of water, did some deep 4-square breathing and made a cup of green tea. Score!!!! IF 1: wimpy self-control 0 (GOOSEEGG BAYBEEEEE!) -
Hahahaaha! Just yesterday I was standing in the frozen pea section, I was stumped trying to do a quick derivative equation about the carbs in the bag of peas in my hands if I only ate 1 tbsp. hahahaha! (agreed, I can safely say I'm not needed a single sin or cosin since calculus).

Been cramping &v dry-heaving for almost 3 hours,...WTH...Is this dumping??
FluffyChix replied to Twism44's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
It could be so many things. Can you keep any fluids down? For me, it turned out to be severe constipation and I was so backed up, nothing else would go down! LOL. I had no. idea. Zero. Ideas. Until it happened to me. Very back bowel cramping, but no productivity. Just bad, bad, bad, bowel cramps and hurling up my toes. Only time since surgery I've hurled. -

Here's mine. A girl on another board is famous for her Egg Salad With Cottage Cheese and EBTB Spice. It's so good. And I made my own verion. I never really measure stuff--so it changes each time, I just plop it on the scale and record the macros ingredients instead. So one time it might be 16g of "this" and the next time if the spoon is bigger, it might be 20g...you know? Sorry no pics, but the tuna in the celeray was close to it, just omit the tuna. -
Can you eat roasted pumpkin seeds?
FluffyChix replied to Medowsweet's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Sure! I do all the time. But just make sure you're over 21. And remember to chew responsibly! But I am also working on 9 months out. -

Oh crap! I forgot about that! I so rarely add it to anything. I make bacons for Denny (Mr F) and keep it in the fridge so I can pull out a slice and slap it on something for him. I was feeling frisky that day. LOL. -

It will add to the cortisol. Pound the water and the floor at the gym like in Flashdance!!! Here's your morning workout music. Believe Matt! Believe--what a feeling!!! It cans still happen!! -

Congrats on surgery. Did you have any meetings or discussions with your RD or doc about diet? Did they give you the doctor's diet plan? Where did you have surgery. -

Where did I say your math was right? Your math is wrong. You forgot to divide by 2.2lbs/kg to express the weight in kg.
